Superior Drummer V2 is what I use it with. When you load this kit, the drums become a percussion setup instead of the usual drums. This is fantastic. So I have one SD2 instance with a loaded drum kit and another SD2 instance with a loaded percussion kit. It's absolutely wonderful. In contrast to electronic synthesized instruments that simulate percussion, it uses real percussion samples. So far, it seems amazing. It also includes some interesting MIDI patterns. Please let me know if you found this information useful. When used with SD2 or EZ Drummer, you will be very pleased.

I'm using a Mac with Logic Pro and a Presonus Studio 8 Fire Station at the moment. When superior drummer came out, I decided to go with easy drummer because I'm cheap. The Easy Drummer is a fantastic tool that is incredibly simple to use. I purchased this expansion because I am a big fan of Latin percussion, and it did not disappoint. Unlike some of their other tune track expansions, I think this one is one of the best and most useful. If you enjoy good food, you will enjoy this. I don't have the funds to hire someone, so this is the only way I can get good-sounding Latin percussion for my productions.
To begin with, this library's sounds are incredible! I've had a few ideas for tracks that would benefit from some Latin percussion. I decided to look for a sound library instead of buying the gear I'd need because buying it was out of the question. Superior Drummer 2 was my choice after a lot of research. As a result, I decided to take a look at this EZX collection. br>br>It doesn't disappoint; in fact, the quality of everything sounds incredible. Congas, bongos, timbales, and shakers were the primary instruments I was looking for. This includes all of that, as well as a lot more. EZDrummer or Superior Drummer 2 are required for this pack to work. SP2. 0 keeps all existing EZX packs in place while also adding the higher-quality SDX packs. br>br>I know I'm terrible at playing drum parts on my MIDI keyboard, so I use my Alesis DM10 Studio eKit and assign the pieces I want to the various triggers, then record them that way. I usually use the keyboard to add single cymbals or shakers; I'm not sure if there's a way to automatically map the pieces to an eKit; I haven't looked. SP2. Using the "Learn" key in the MIDI Mapping section of 0 makes it very simple to assign them. br>br>If you want to buy this, keep in mind that you'll need EZDrummer or SP2. 0 as well, as this is an "add-on pack" to those, not a stand-alone product. That said, I am very pleased with my purchase; everything arrived a day or two earlier than expected, the sounds are fantastic, and I will definitely be purchasing more Toontrack products in the future. If you don't have the time, money, gear, or room to record your own Latin percussive sounds, this pack is worth considering. There are some excellent examples on Toontrack's website and on YouTube. I hope this information is useful.
I was hoping for a Carlos Santana performance. I started with low-level percussion and ended up with a beatnick bongo rhythm. Let's hear it for the midi!.
It was a good buy, and it arrived in a timely manner. Thank you very much!.
THIS IS WHAT I USE ON NEARLY ALL OF MY RECORDINGS. THIS IS A FANTASTIC ADDITION. FOR THE PRICE, YOU CAN'T GO WRONG.
Musicians will love this product.
I was in desperate need of percussion parts, and this library delivered. Grooves that sound great right out of the box. It's very nice and reasonably priced.
