Roxio Toast 18 Titanium | DVD Burner & Digital Media Suite [Mac Download] [Old Version]

I was disappointed when I found the Toast I loved would no longer work after updating my Mac to Catalina OS. purchased Toast 18 the first week of October and have spent a lot of money on it since. While it is good for copying DVDs, it is less effective for burning. I can't watch movies created in FCP or iMovie because there are awful "lip-sync errors" There are problems with sync. It doesn't even have to be for 30 minutes. Within four minutes, the audio in the video begins to lag. In this case, the only solution is to dumb down the video on iMovie to its lowest resolution, at which point there will be no problem with AV. Nevertheless, $99 is too much for a program like that. This company produces Corel technology. Customer support was good, spending an hour on the phone with me, walking me through the process of wiping out everything from a previous version of Toast, but it did not fix my Since then, I've been using MyDVD Pro, which was inexpensive and quite useful. On my iMac, I have an unused Toast with a price of $99 installed. I thought the "bug fix" of a couple of weeks ago solved the problem, but it did not. You should be aware of this. The simplicity of the interface and editing, as well as the upward and downward mobility, appeal to me. Is it compatible with OS Catalina? Yes, it is. However, it does not convert the edited version, only the original. I was unable to export the edited version of the video when I hit "Convert" for an edited file. It is pointless if it does not export the edited version of the video.

The drop down menus are also broken. There was an issue with Toast 17 with drop down menu items not showing up until the mouse was moved over them. The problem is present in Toast 18 as well. Additionally, you can In an m2ts file that is dolby digital, it displays only the PCM version. Adding files from eyetv crashes the program when you select media and try to add a file. I suggest you do not buy this piece of junk! Corel/Roxio offers a 30-day money-back guarantee after I have decided not to use their product. When Roxio was owned by Corel, the software was fantastic! It's time to get rid of them.

If you touch it, you'll be burned. To make matters worse, Roxio Toast is now a primitive program. There aren't many mac codecs that it can recognize, especially if you work on a mac. In addition, if you edit on a Mac, this software will not work or will have all kinds of issues. talked to tech support, and they eventually admitted that Toast wasn't intended to work with pro Mac formats like Quicktime.
