At the time my software was purchased, there was still an operating system called XP. I was able to upgrade to Windows 2007 and the problem was fixed. Check the program specifications to see if this program is compatible with 2010 before deciding to use it. Having to remove the video editing software and all the add-ons was the primary source of frustration. There is actually no real way to use the video editing feature since it is only a trial version and you will be asked to fork over money to use the "real thing." I only burn DVDs and CDs with this portion of the program. It was my pleasure to help.
In fact, yes. When I purchased my copy, I expected it to run on my old OS XP computer, but it ran fine on my new OS 2007. There is only one complaint I have about this software - the video editing program that comes with it, Divx, which I deleted immediately after installing it. If you try to open, you're told this is a trial version and that you need to pay. As far as CD and DVD burning is concerned, the software works fine.

I went through the process of installing it and it automatically informed me that an error had occurred. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the program on multiple occasions We could only reach you via e-mail, as we did not have a phone number. Responded to an email sent by the other party. My results were the same because they gave me a process to follow. It usually takes a day or two to receive a reply to each email. I was unable to get anyone to pick up the phone so that I may speak with them about the issue which is, I understand, a common problem. No solution was found. The trash was full of it.
It is a software program I would recommend to any individual with just basic computer skills. The instructions are very simple so you will be done in no time.
but the first few times it will be slow. You will have to wait 30 minutes before you can burn a DVD. As long as you watch a dvd for 15 minutes per time, it will pick up speed after a few uses. It does the same job for a fraction of the cost of other popular brands since you do not need to subscribe to it yearly.
Worked on Windows 10 but did not work on Windows 10. My husband sent it back and we are still.
The older version of the computer would allow me to convert a song from a commercial CD to a WAV file. "Ripping" to MP3 is now only available in newer versions of the software. In this case, we are moving backward. A WAV file cannot be burned to a DVD, either. I'm not much of a fan. The following is a quote from Miguel.

When I first read these reviews I thought it was my computer, pc, that was causing my burned DVD's not to work about half of the time until I read other reviews and realized it was My opinion is that this is not a good buy. As soon as this review is over, I will look for new software.
