I was able to use it with 64 bit on my Windows 7 but it became entirely useless with On my new Lenovo, I have a great burning program, but it doesn't work on Windows 8. After having bought a new version, it no longer works.
When I tried to get this software to run, I talked to four different techs from the software provider and still the software would not start. This product as far as I am concerned is a piece of junk and I was unable to
The version of Windows I am using is 8 The Roxio Easy CD & DVD seems to work just fine for me For the first time, I have a DVD burner I tested it out on an audio CD and it worked perfectly Some of these burners are in my collection There is only one that is good.
Window 7 was the operating system I used. The paper box does, however, indicate that it is for use with Windows 8.

Since I began using Roxio, I have never looked back. The program has been an effective tool for copying files and burning discs, including archiving (to create backup copies of data) I received UPs). Only con has been that we have been forced to re-purchase it almost every time we upgrade our operating system due to Microsoft requirements. It was in the pre-war period In the days of Windows, we had disks There was already a built-in command that was free, so Roxio was not required. Roxio was a pre-installed program in early Windows versions The software is installed for free on new computers. As a result, I had to purchase I had to buy Roxio again because I am now using Windows 10. I was concerned by the negative reviews which pointed to a number of problems this time. Nevertheless, aside from one temporary issue, the program is working quite well, at least for the functions I require. only problem I encountered was that during installation, my computer froze and would not run when I tried to restart it. I fixed the problem by removing the power cord, waiting 30 seconds, and then plugging it back in again. This solved the problem, and I was able to make copies of the disks with no problems. Copying data from a disk is very easy to do and runs without a problem.
Upon trying to install the item, I was unable to use the key code provided by Amazon. I received the item from Amazon in its original sealed packaging in a timely manner. There is no way to contact Roxio's support, they have the most difficult support I've ever experienced. Just trying to find a way to contact them is virtually impossible, with every step you take on their site leading you back to the beginning. Eventually, I got in touch with them via their contact form, and they suggested I download the installer and give it another go. The proof of purchase and the copy of my receipt did not work, and I have not heard back after sending them the proof of purchase and receipt. Doing business in this manner is definitely not a good idea. Until now I have never experienced any problem with Roxio products, although I have used Roxio products in the past. Honestly, I find this kind of failure on the part of a legitimate software company completely unacceptable.
That's a pile of s---! It would have been better if I had just installed the DVD software from the manufacturer. The file extensions of my UNENCRYPTED movie files range from a few to many There are many formats available, including avi, mp4 and I am unable to create a DVD, however, using Roxio. A number of the movies have been Xed out without any error message being displayed. In any case, they are listed as supported extensions in the instructions. my videos to different formats, but even though I converted them, I still had trouble burning many of them to A large amount of my videos use AC3 audio. When I click a link to upgrade to a totally different program for $60, I receive an alert telling me all AC3 audio will be silenced unless I upgrade. Windows 8 is the operating system I am using. The installation of this program on one 64-bit computer went smoothly despite a All in all, this software should not be sold to anyone other than people who want to capture video directly from camcorders.
This program was problematic for us. The disc burning program seems straightforward to use, but there was a problem with the program. A reunion was being held, and we needed to make multiple copies of the same disc. Approximately three CDs had already been burned when the program crashed. As I recall, we would have to restart the computer, burn 3 more CDs, reboot, etc. Finally, we discovered we could burn one CD, close the program, reopen, burn one CD, close, reopen, etc. It took forever to burn 50 CDs. We're not sure if this is a problem with our computer or if it is something more serious. Using the program, I was able to play the music when testing the final product. It skips and cuts out a few tracks when played on another computer or DVD player after it has been burned. It was not perfect, but we were unable to pay more for a different program because of time (or money) or energy constraints. In order to purchase this program, we contacted a service representative via live chat before making the purchase. As well as making sure the program was compatible with our computer, they walked us through a few steps. However, there was no mention of the program crashing. If this is a necessity, we won't need to use it again. I got the job done, but it was slow and the end result was less than desirable.
While some of the other users here had issues installing it, I was able to install it without any problems. However, as soon as it was installed, trouble began. There is a problem with this software which refuses to recognize DVDs Discs in the DVD-R format can be played on some DVD players. I am unable to copy the files to a DVD when I try to copy I then received an error message telling me to try a different disc format because the software sabotages the disc, making it unusable. There are no problems with any other DVD burning software I have, including the Windows 7 software so I am quite certain the problem is with Roxio. Support from Roxio is extremely difficult to obtain there is no contact number available, and you can only reach them by I have repeatedly sent them email requests for assistance, but so far, they have not responded. They make some pretty rubbish software and are part of a company that makes rubbish software. Both are to be avoided as much as possible.
I think it was the least friendly, communicative, and capable program I have Since I have only been frustrated and overwhelmed by computers for the last fifty years, I should not be surprised. The program does NOT include any of the following features Permanently save a copy of the data. This software does not allow you to rename a DOES NOT allow for the number of copies to be made to be specified. We have repealed its service as unfit to spend time or money on it and are happy to return it to its replacement file. Taking this as a MINUS YELP award due to my lack of time to explain how I really feel, I can only attest to how I feel about this product.
