There are a plethora of far superior programs with which to begin. The biggest issue is their customer service, with whom I was just chatting (again) about getting access to the Rosetta Stone program that I had paid for. Frequently, I find myself locked out. They'll claim you're logged in on other devices when you're not (it's all part of their cloud platform). If you buy their local program edition, keep in mind that you'll need to contact them after every major Windows update. They'll want you to re-acquaint them with your work. active or repurchase the program under the guise that it is already installed on another computer. Then, even after you explain that you just installed a Windows update and that it is the same computer, customer service complains. I've worked with the program for a long time. Grammar isn't taught in these schools. For the most part, you'll have to rely on Google Translate and other software to understand what they're trying to teach you. The program is then excellent for reinforcement and repetition once it has been proven to work. Several programs have been used by me. My recommendations are listed below. br>br>Duolingo is, without a doubt, the best place to begin. It's only been 9 months since I started using it. It's also uncomplicated. There are paid options available, including some that I have purchased. br>br>Babble is the next best, especially if you're serious about learning and want to learn quickly. (I've been using it for about three years. ) )br>br>Mondly is a complete waste of money. Although it has a cool mixed reality feature, it is not an excellent learning tool. (I paid for a lifetime subscription because it was inexpensive. ) Primsler is a waste of money. )br>br>Primsler is a waste of money. Their philosophy is one-of-a-kind and completely self-contained. serving. (I only bought the begging set because I already knew it was a waste of money. ) )br>br>Barron's is an excellent source of information. br>br>Over the years, I've learned German, Spanish, Chinese, Romanian, and Japanese.
69 on all levels of the Spanish, Japanese, and Tagalog courses. I thought it was a good deal because they were on sale and were supposed to be for life; The courses, like CK and JB, magically vanished after a Windows update. I dialed the customer service number a number of times. I gave up after wasting several hours on the phone with their customer service department. I think they have a good system in place, but when you pay a lot of money for something that is supposed to last a lifetime and you only get a year and a half out of it, they expect you to buy it again! These chiselers are not to be trusted! I couldn't give them zero stars because I didn't have any, so I had to give them one even though they deserved none!.
The software was clumsy and wouldn't fully load; I expected more from such an expensive program.
The ease with which picture associations can be combined with words is appealing to me. People with heavy Southern accents, on the other hand, have a hard time getting speech recognition to work. Y'all.
When I return to work on it, I am unable to log into my account. It appears to be a widespread issue, and the Rosetta Stone receives no support. br>Although Amazon will not allow you to return the item after 30 days and it is a lifetime product, I must say that the Amazon representative did everything she could for me and I am grateful for her assistance. br>After many hours of trying to get help with this product, my son was referred to Rosette Stone (877-) who was able to assist him. 211- 2367), who discovered the issue and was able to fix it. So even if you have to wait for hours on the phone, you will be able to get help.
I purchased it because I have relatives in Spain who I will be visiting in October. br>I've been using this on a daily basis for the past week. The app is simple to operate and navigate. It's also extremely addictive (unlike other language learning apps, which I lost interest in after the first day). Use for two days). The speech recognition, on the other hand, is my favorite part. It improves your ability to communicate effectively. Rosetta Stone did an excellent job in this area, as well as throughout the app.
The best value for your money! I like that I can learn from my phone and that I never have to pay a subscription fee. The combination of a dictionary and a grammar book is ideal.
I was able to start using it right away thanks to a mobile app on my iPad. This program is simple to use, and I find the practical exercises and pronunciation assistance that it provides to be extremely beneficial. I've used other language learning programs in the past, but Rosetta Stone is by far the best.
