It isn't as 'intuitive' as it may appear. Customer service and instructions are both lacking; simple, basic things are over-complicated. More difficult concepts, on the other hand, appear to be given short shrift. It also doesn't give you a lot of instructions on how to operate the app. I discovered by accident that pressing and holding on a lesson icon brings up a translation option. That would've been extremely useful to know, given that I had no idea what I was saying half of the time. br>Also, the photos used on smaller tablets are difficult to see. Some of them are baffling to say the least. br>It's a fantastic grammar book - if you're an expert in the field of grammar. I have no idea what's going on. The dictionary is difficult to read because it is missing words. On the bright side - The voice recognition function is excellent. There have only been a couple of times when I've had to yell at it. )br>It's quite costly, but I can't afford to experiment with other options to see if they're any better. I'd recommend doing thorough research on other programs before purchasing this one. It's possible that this is the best choice. (But it's still a pain. ).
Not suitable for use on a plane or in other situations where there is no access to the internet.
So far, it's been a disappointment. The issue of voice recognition has been a major stumbling block. It frequently fails to recognize my voice! It wouldn't recognize my pronunciation of "a"' even if it was a simple word like "a"! br>br>The lessons are repetitive, and the first lesions are frequently difficult. It's fortunate that I can understand some Italian as a result of my childhood and upbringing in an Italian family. br>br>I would say no if you asked me if I would buy it again.
This product has been used previously with a CD. The download version hasn't been a pleasant experience for me. I'm unable to return to the beginning; there is a brief review, but it only covers the most basic aspects of the lesson. br>The second time I used it, it refused to accept my password, so I requested a password reset, which did not arrive within four hours, forcing me to start over. Yes, I went through the Trash/Spam folder multiple times. It's been a struggle, which makes using it vexing and inconvenient.
It's also very user friendly.
Conversational Italian is an important skill to have.
Let's get one thing out of the way. This software will not allow you to become completely fluent in the language. This is, however, an excellent starting point for learning the language. A lifetime subscription to Rosetta Stone, an Italian to English dictionary, and a grammar book are included in the package. A computer, tablet, or phone can all be used to access the subscription. For iOS and Android, there is a Rosetta Stone app. Each class lasts approximately 30 minutes. They concentrate on the following four topics: Practical phrases, vocabulary building, pronunciation and grammar practice, and interactive experiences are all available. The software uses voice recognition to compare your voice to that of native speakers in order to assist you in perfecting your accent. Try listening to Italian music and watching Italian TV and movies if you really want to improve your language skills. I highly recommend it because it will help you to reinforce what you've learned, learn new vocabulary, and speak more fluently. Thank you for taking the time to read this review. br>br> I hope the data I've provided helps you make a more informed decision.
