Is this program, like Quicken and Turbotax, capable of uploading all of your personal data? I wouldn't want intuit to own my entire life story. ?

I'm not sure why, but it doesn't admit to doing it. I chose to install it, then check for and download updates before disconnecting my PC from the Internet and relaunching the app. I was able to complete the entire interview, including answering all questions, print copies, and save as PDF without ever connecting to the Internet. I close the app before reconnecting, then disconnect from the Internet once more before restarting it. That way, it appears to be fairly secure. YMMV

Is it possible to set up multiple trusts and/or wills for different people in different states?

You can make as many as you want.

Is it possible to specify in your will that a specific item, such as a piece of furniture, be given to a specific heir?

You can designate specific items to a specific person using the property sheet.

Why would I want to upgrade to the "Premium" edition?

Not at all what they said. With the program, there are only a few forms available! Wants you to spend a lot of money on additional (necessary) Trust forms! br>Do not waste your money! br>It's a sham of a program! ,,,,,.

A waste of time- There is no data on the disk, and it is unusable

The CD-ROM drive would not boot up (apparently there is no data on the disk). Also, when you try to activate the program on Nolo's website with the activation code that came with the product, it doesn't work.

We bought it to establish a family trust between my father and me. br>Only a spouse option is available. br>Knowing that ahead of time would have been beneficial. br>The section for creating wills is simple and straightforward.

If you don't have a complicated will, this is a good option that will save you money over hiring a lawyer. It guides you through the procedure in an easy-to-understand manner. I made a will for myself and another for my wife.

Although this product is simple to use, it lacks the necessary forms

I liked how simple the product is to use, but if the trust includes real estate, this package lacks the additional forms required to complete the entire trust process. Of course, Nolo charges $24 for the extra forms you'll need. 95 -.
