Its voice recognition accuracy is amazing after a long period of use. Its typing speed is only limited by the speed at which one speaks. It has a hard time recognizing non-human beings at first. It can't recognize US/UK names until it's been trained, but it can recognize the pronunciation and spelling to an excellent level once it's been trained. This software is a lot of fun to use. br>br>On my Macbook Pro, I have a separate copy of Dragon Dictate 3 - However, in order for Dragon NaturallySpeaking Pro 12 to be fully functional, this software must evolve significantly. Currently, it is number five. After years of using Dragon NaturallySpeaking Pro on Windows, I find its capabilities, features, and voice recognition to be limited.

Around ten years ago, I made the switch to the professional series. 9 PRO was the most recent version I used. This DNS 12 is a significant improvement over DNS 9. I usually spend between 8 and 10 hours a day on my computer. Editing time is 10 minutes per page. I edited a three-page report in less than three minutes with DNS 12, which is significantly faster. It was in Spanish that I received the version. The instructions for converting to English that came with it were simple and straightforward. Thank- With this Spanish version, you've saved me a couple of hundred dollars. It works perfectly!.

With less than 10 minutes of training, you can get amazing uncanny voice recognition right out of the box. If you pay for dictation, you owe it to yourself to give this a shot. Also, the medical version does not require thousands of dollars more. You can impart your specific vocabulary to this version.

The product I received is in Spanish, which is a big no-no. Packaging in Spanish, as well as a quick reference card and a CD, are included. It also includes a note stating that it is "simple" to convert this version to both English and Spanish. While this may be correct, it contradicts the listing and is completely unethical.

For court reporting, this is fantastic software. It takes some getting used to, but it will save you time when it comes to transcription. I used Premium 11, but this is far superior.
