noticed that this product is significantly slower than Norton's right after I installed it, but I kept using it since this was cheaper. Today, 3 months later, the weekly virus scan slows the system so much that I am forced to reboot and I am not even being protected as updates still fail. In their support article, they suggested that I check out their Privacy information where I found a link that may make that happen, but the mention of EU customers seemed to imply they were only doing this for them. The description of the product was misleading. The activation card arrived. I followed the directions on it, but it actually takes you to a website where you have to purchase a product. There are no fields to fill in with your I have looked at several links and videos provided by McAfee and they all led back to the purchase page that asked for a credit card number. I have used MacAfee in the past and I was hoping that they had changed their business practices. The product has been fine-tuned.

Despite the fact that we had the product compromised, we didn't discover it until we went to install it! There was an error on the page, and to click here for assistance in fixing it. It turned out to be a scam and the company messed up our cable modem, our wireless router, and my wife's computer so badly that she cannot get online and is afraid to now!.

I had to call a support center in a foreign country and a representative tried to sell me a firewall for $199 after numerous ploys. In comparison to last year, the cost to renew McAfee LiveSafe was almost double that. My decision to purchase McAfee Total Protection for 3 devices was made after comparing LiveSafe and Total Protection (nearly identical). As I had read a couple horror stories about people trying to do such a thing and running into trouble, I was somewhat paranoid at first. It is described on their website that I must uninstall LiveSafe using the Windows 10 control panel / Add or Remove Programs function before installing McAfee Internet Security. In my experience, this setup has worked flawlessly on two separate computers of mine. I uninstalled LiveSafe and restarted the computer after uninstalling it. My next step was to use the 19. 99 subscription card I ordered on Amazon for Total Protection. After it was activated, I went to the McAfee website by following the directions on the card. I then entered After downloading and installing the software, it worked fine. There was never a problem at all. My McAfee subscription has been about three years now, and I am satisfied with the service.
