For more than a decade, I have been using the Webroot Internet Security Complete software suite. I had been using this service for years and found that it provided reliable threat protection for numerous devices, does not negatively affect my PC's performance, and is a reasonable $30 a year. This would be a 5 star rating if the story were a complete one. The company, despite the fact that this business model seems to keep them afloat, insists on asking me to renew their software for $80/year, despite the fact that this model appears to keep them in business. I get the privilege of not having to re-enter my account every year with a new code as well as getting the software at a much lower cost (more than twice what the software costs at Amazon). There is not much value to be found This year, when I was marketing I tried to send Webroot (an opentext company, if you hadn't realized sent them the following suggestion, which they rejected right away because I use an old hotmail account. For online purchases, you will need a com account decided to post it here for the sake of reaching them "Hello, Webroot! My name is Linda, and I have been living in Fort Myers since 1959. " With over a decade of experience using Webroot Internet Security Complete, I am a longtime customer. For as long as I can remember, I have paid $30 per year to protect multiple machines. It's like clockwork - you ask if I want to renew for $80, and every year I wait it out and buy a new license either from Amazon, or from you if your price is decent enough. For the first time this year, I purchased a two-bedroom apartment So that I do not have to tolerate your efforts to get me to renew for two and a half times as much as what I usually pay, I have purchased a $30-per-year subscription from Amazon for $60 (so $30 per year). I wish to suggest a way for you to reduce your renewal cost. I suggest So I can just let it run on its own Rather than letting you renew my subscription every year, I will let you pilot it. Even though I hate the inconvenience, I have no choice but to wait until the holiday sales to get the best price. I am sure it would be very nice - for you as well as for me - if I never had to worry about that We both enjoy the same amount of money each year (actually, we might be getting more since you're not reselling through Amazon) and we both get the peace of mind knowing I'm getting your great service at a rate I feel comfortable with. I just wanted to let you know what I would like you to do for me, as far as a long-term relationship goes I was a paying customer for a long time. At least, for the $30 I paid yearly.
Yesterday, I came down with a virus. Thank you for giving me the refund, I appreciate it. I bought Webroot because it came highly recommended in unsolicited reviews. It is common for AV companies to buy their reviews. There is a bit of a clunky interface and it is It is not for the faint of heart to use a PC. Trying to use their management console, I had mistakenly created a user for the purpose of distributing licenses to other laptops. Upon trying to delete the user, I was unable to do so. Contacted customer service in part, but it did not succeed. We finally got in touch with a human, who stated that the system does not support deleting My anger was raised by that. The company offered me a runaround, told me time and time again that I had to accept their design and take their product. Then, I tried to cancel the order for the AV software package, but Amazon said that it is an illegal practice to sell non-operating software Products with a refund policy. I apologize, but Amazon screwed things up by messing with the wrong person. There is a "duty of merchantability" in the law. Whether the customer likes it or not, Amazon advertised the product. You cannot hide behind a third party and expect them to blindly purchase items. In my request for a refund, I specified a specific amount. It was refused. Because I am the one with the power, I am OK with that. Having disputed the transaction, I'm confident that I'm going to win. Then, I will lose my business and you will get my money back. I have an excellent dispute resolution record. I have already tried a trial version of another antivirus product and have been pleased with the results. IMPORTANT I bought it from the company directly online and was treated with respect as if I was a customer. This is bad news for Amazon. The results are bad for Webroot. I would recommend that you don't purchase this product and shop elsewhere instead of.
On my computer, I have a similar piece of software that is about to expire, so I tried purchasing the new Web Root program, but I've had no success with installing Does it make sense to uninstall my expiring Web Root first? I had installed old Web Root on a ASK FOR HELP!.
I've been using this software for years and I'm very satisfied with it. As far as I know, it's never been compromised, even though it's caught a few threats along the way. I have noticed that the overhead on Windows 10 is much lower than that of any other antivirus software I have used. It's great that SecureAnywhere is so affordable but it's kind of expensive By purchasing your renewals here, you can save a lot of money. The hint is Wait until the day your old subscription expires before activating your renewal. In other words, your previous subscription does not continue, but is replaced. If you buy it now, it will be ready when the old one expires, but you should activate it only when it The process is the same as long as you are replacing the equivalent editions.
There is nothing wrong with the program and it does not consume much time or The subscription I purchased was two years so I am not sure if it will automatically renew but every where I have looked says it is for one year only.
A support representative has been contacted several times about this issue (December 2020). There was a long delay in getting it fixed (months), and now the problem has resurfaced. Furthermore, Webroot detected malware on one of my devices despite the fact that it said all threats were detected by the program. When I used this program years ago, it worked perfectly. Their reliability has been erratic lately, and I have no idea why. It was "fixed" in December but started acting up again a couple weeks later. (June 2021) I just got help in December. Then I would proceed to do the steps they asked me to follow in order to reset it. A couple months or so would pass without it acting up. In the past few months I've had to reset it every other day! Despite having a subscription that's good for another year, I keep getting messages saying that it's expired. The customer service is terrible and after I uninstalled the software it won't come back up! I recommend that you do something about Amazon
The attached image is all the "help" they are willing to provide In the case of web security software, you can't claim that it is legitimate if your customers have to safe boot and jimmy rig it every day.
