I have had a terrible time on the machine. This has slowed it down miserably from day one There are all kinds of pop-ups and warnings This application displays all the time, but does not seem to be scanning regularly I can't login to my mailbox because the page is bouncing between different parts The worst part is that I am unable to log in to a couple of sites, including one that deals with credit cards. It's possible to fix each of these, you can go to the settings, etc, etc, and it worked once to fix the jumpin' mail box issue (even if temporarily), but the time it takes to google and look up and fix them is an extraordinary amount of time. This is the first virus program I've ever encountered, and I won't have another one anytime soon. In the event I do not get these logs The only way to fix the issues is just to completely remove the program from the machine.
It seems almost perfect. I used Norton for many years, but wanted to change to another antivirus program. Based on the PCMag review, I picked BitDefender (BD) because it has the most features and receives the highest rating. The reason I selected incorrectly is that BD refused to let a crucial Microsoft Outlook plug in work and as a result I lost valuable time, until BD admitted that they do not have a solution. I installed Kaspersky, which had a high rating from PCMag, similar to Brand, and it did an excellent job of analyzing all programs on my computer, assigning reputations to all of them, and allowing the Microsoft Outlook plug in which Brand interfered to work as it should. Kaspersky has also been very helpful to me because I have not encountered any problems. There is a lot of refinement and maturity in this Almost perfect is the only phrase I used in my title. Kaspersky is lacking just one feature, which is why I called it "Almost Perfect". In the "Work Profiles", BD knows when these applications (Word, Outlook) are open and when I am working. Please prevent Chrome and Windows from running nonsense background tasks that slow down my computer overnight when they can do it overnight while I am not using the A feature like this does not exist in Kaspersky. This is what I would like to see them do in imitation of BD.
After reading many positive reviews about how Kaspersky is the "best," and having used Norton and others for 20 years, I just tried it for the first time. After just a couple of days, it blocks websites I try to access because it claims there are "trojan horses". Yet the Google search plug-in displays no results As long as it's safe, it's marked as such. When I tried to purchase from an unblocked website, it charged my card but did not complete the purchase, causing errors for the site. Clearly their features are not tested and appear to be full of bugs. I don't have time to list the sheer number of errors I am experiencing. Rather than becoming a liability, software should be viewed as a tool. This is probably one of the safest anti-virus programs The only reason you cannot use your computer is that there is a virus out there. A computer should be set up in such a way that it is safe to use This is not what you should do. Purchasing this item was a mistake, as I've never before experienced an anti-virus It is so intrusive to work with a virus. My only reason for leaving Norton is that they ask for your social security number, which I could not bear.
It's that simple! Kaspersky is one of my favorite security products. While I was a member of Computer Associates, they no longer exist. This software has been a part of my life for the last ten years. Besides, it runs in the background, updates automatically, and is not overly expensive. The "Money Safe" feature is my favorite part of the software. In order to keep your financial information safe, it double encrypts your financial sites. We recommend it because it's the best on the market and it's a subscription which is 24 months long!.
I have never had any problems As of now, I have not had trouble with it and they offer some extras that, on the free versions which are restricted, are quite useful. Purchasing a new one each time is a better value, since you will not have to renew the old one each time. There are some inconveniences, but the renewal price is higher (you have to remove the old version and install the new one).
I used this for 3 computers for 2 years without any problems. I had no problems installing it. It's easy to keep the program up to date. Since I have been using this product, I have not had any virus or malware issues.
It is very easy to install the application once you have downloaded it. Basically, you just need to install it and then you can It's a great protection, I would recommend it.
The antivirus we purchased from this source was inaccessible and would not download, and the authorization code we were provided would not work. We had to remove it from our computers using Unix commands, and are strongly against recommending or using this software product, BEWARE what you purchase.
