Questions & Answers

Is there peanut butter in it?

For my Rabbit, I've been purchasing this product for the past eight years. Menu has never had peanuts on it.

Is it possible to have the product delivered to Monterrey, Mexico? I can't seem to find the vitakraft brand in Mexico, and that's what my rabbit used to eat before we moved here?

I discovered a pet-products company and purchased the leash from them. The quality is excellent, the material is soft, and the dog's neck is not bothered by it. They offer a discounted price as well as free delivery. geegoode is a word that has a lot of different meanings depending on who you ☾0m

Is this Menu rabbit food available in a larger bag? I have two adults and five baby pet bunnies?

These commercial rabbit pellets are not suitable for use as a starter diet for any rabbit. Those that are only sold as pellets, with no other ingredients added. I recommend that you investigate it because, believe me, it's a good idea. You don't want to think about how your rabbits will be affected! I stopped feeding my rabbit after the first day or two of using this product because she was getting tummy aches and poops that weren't regular. It had been a nightmare. And she didn't eat her hay the first time she tried it. She was possessed by it and went bananas for it. It's also crucial to look at the ingredients list on the back, which includes percentages. You can learn more about what your bunny requires in order to find the ideal pellets to meet his or her needs. When you're at the store and can't decide what pellets to buy, it helps a lot to break down what pellets to buy and cut out a lot of the commercial products. Lol br>br>Hope this helps anyone who is thinking about buying this product! I'm not sure why this has such high ratings, people, research!

Is this intended for wild rabbits?

Domestic and wild rabbits can both eat this. It's packed with "treats" and seeds found in the wild, but don't give too much at once; it's best used in conjunction with Timothy hay-based food.

BUYING IS A MISTAKE
3/5

YOUR RABBIT POOP WILL BE MESSED UP BY IT. FEED THIS TO YOUR RABBIT AT YOUR OWN RISK! I'M NOT SURE HOW IT GOT SO MANY HIGH RATINGS, BUT IT NOW MAKES SENSE AS TO WHY IT'S SO CHEAP. MY RABBIT HAS BAD DIARRHEA AND HIS WHOLE POOP HAS BEEN MESSED UP BY IT. HIS POO GETS STUCK IN HIS BUTT, AND IT'S NOT PELLET POOP. THEY BUNDLE UP AS A RESULT. I REALIZED IT WAS THE REASON FOR HIS BAD POOP BECAUSE HE LOVES TO EAT IT AND GOES CRAZY FOR IT. I HAVE A REX RABBIT WHO IS APPROXIMATELY ONE YEAR OLD.

This is something Bunny really enjoys

My lil 8- lb English Spot anticipates receiving a handful of these pellets twice daily and will remind me if I forget. He selects a small freeze-dried item. I tried three other brands before trying this one, and he would eat them but didn't seem to have a preference. br>br>I tried three other brands before trying this one, and he would eat them but didn't seem to have a preference. br>br>I tried three other brands before trying this one, and he didn't seem to have a preference. However, he is no longer willing to accept substitutions or replacements! br>br>He's still in great shape after 6 months of exclusively feeding him this one. He has a nice thick coat, clear eyes and ears, and he loves the taste so much that he runs up for it every time and does a binky afterwards; he does have a little bit of a pooch in his tummy, but that's probably because I spoil him with fresh fruit and he's approaching middle age. br>br>Anyway, this stuff is fantastic, especially for the price, and it is definitely rabbit-friendly. approved! br>br>NEW ADDITIONAL INFORMATION- Bun has been eating these for over a year and continues to enjoy them! According to the vet, I'm still in great shape! I've signed up for your newsletter. For the record, I supplement hay, but he doesn't eat much of it, and he does eat about a handful of greens/kitchen scraps every day.

It's not for domestic rabbits, but it's a good addition to the diet of wild rabbits
5/5

During the winter, I feed this to my rehabilitated wild rabbits as part of their diet. I adore how fragrant it is, as well as the variety of dried fruits and plants it contains. Wild rabbits eat a wide range of foods, which provides them with a variety of choices. This time of year, when greens are scarce, I supplement with foraged greens, hay, and items such as tree buds and bark. The goal is to make the food taste like what they might find in the wild, and I believe this food will help me achieve that goal. br>br>However, I have eight domestic rabbits to whom I would never feed this. There are far too many things in this room that are bad for them and would cause havoc with their systems. Hay should be the primary source of nutrition for domestic animals, with some plain pellets and fresh greens thrown in for good measure. br>br>If you do decide to feed this to your domestic rabbits, do so in moderation and gradually transition them from their old pellet food to avoid causing too much disruption to their systems. Keep a close eye on their feces. This should not be given to rabbits under the age of six months. Rabbits are delicate creatures, and feeding them the right food is the most important thing you can do to keep them healthy. The treatment for GI stasis (which is very common and deadly in rabbits) can cost upwards of $1,000. br>br>Bottom line: I recommend this to other wildlife rehabbers who are having trouble finding a good feed for overwintering rabbits, but not as a primary diet for domestic rabbits.

This is a life saver
5/5

Our Rabbit has been lavished with attention. We tried other foods to see if he would eat them because the local WM didn't have the food he liked on a few occasions. NO, NO, NO, NO, NO, NO, NO, NO, NO, NO, NO He'd also throw tantrums and make it clear that he didn't like it. We looked on here after the local WM ran out of stock. We no longer need to be concerned about the store being closed. It arrives at our doorstep.

It's not eaten by Bunny
3/5

Our pet rabbit refuses to eat it; he isn't spoiled in the least, and I tried a different brand, but he avoids it at all costs, which is fascinating. I went back to the old brand to see if he'd eat it, and he did, so I know there's something wrong with this item because the rabbit won't eat it.

Rabbits in the wild
5/5

We have several wild rabbits in our yard, and I assume they enjoy this food because they eat it up and return for feedings on a regular basis, especially at night. I'm not sure we should be feeding wild rabbits, but we do feed birds (intentionally), deer (inadvertently), and squirrels (inadvertently), so what the heck.

Excellent value for money
5/5

It's a great deal, and my bunny seems to enjoy it. I've bought a lot of stuff before. It's my go-to for her for the most part, but she does seem to have preferences. In the sense that she abandons some of her possessions. However, I've heard that bunnies can be quite amusing when it comes to food after being exposed to a variety of flavors/varieties, etc. It's convenient to have sealed packaging.

Rabbit food that is excellent
4/5

For the past five years, I've purchased adult rabbit food. He eats vegetables and seeds on a daily basis. The pellets have a lot of tasty bits coming out of them. Because my preferred brand was out of stock, I purchased this one. I was surprised to discover that he consumes all of the pieces. His bowl has run out of food. I've discovered a new rabbit food source! The poor quality of the seal is the only reason I gave it four stars. The zipper seal was only attached to one side of the bag when I cut it open, so it will not close. I had to stow it away in a plastic shopping bag. Keep it fresh by tying it.
