Questions & Answers

Is there a bigger bag for this? These pellets are very popular among my bunnies. ?

I haven't been able to find a bag that is bigger than this one. I'm sorry, but I'm not aware of any size that they market for rescues/shelters.

Why is alfalfa the first ingredient if adult rabbits should not be fed it?

For adult rabbits, my vet recommended this brand of solid food. However, it was only suggested after he developed serious digestive issues that necessitated the consumption of solid food. My rabbits have been eating timothy hay exclusively for the past few months. I didn't inquire about her decision with my specialty veterinarian.

Is this applicable to all stages of development? Do you mind if I tell you that I have a five-month-old rabbit?

They have a formula that is better for young rabbits.

Thank you for your recent inquiry about our Supreme Science Selective Adult Rabbit Food, and we look forward to hearing from you. br>We do have a specially formulated rabbit food for junior rabbits; our junior rabbit food is suitable for rabbits up to the age of 20 weeks, after which you must transition the rabbit to adult food. My bunny died as a result of eating this: Prior to this, my bunny was in perfect health and had no issues
3/5

I gave her a smidgeon of this, and she was dead the next morning. (It wasn't a coincidence, in my opinion. ) If your bunny has never eaten this before, I would strongly advise you to think twice about feeding it to them. To be on the safe side, I'd stick with hay. (br>br>I'll contact the manufacturer to see if this is a previously reported issue. ).

Deadly- as well as ingredients that aren't bunny-safe
3/5

Similarly to another client- Our active and healthy rabbit died not long after receiving this. My son's life had been turned upside down. We were fortunate to have a rabbit that was in excellent health. We noticed something was wrong with her after three days. We scheduled an appointment with the veterinarian for the following day. She had left by morning. br>I was under the impression that this was just hay. When I was doing price comparisons. When we first got it, I noticed something was off. Save yourself a lot of grief. This unsuitable diet should not be fed. Only timothy hay pellets in compressed form are available.

I've made a monster out of myself
5/5

Even though I can't prove it, I gave it a five-star rating for freshness and ingredient quality. The truth is that this food has ruined my elderly rabbit's ability to eat other foods. It appears to be fresher, greener, and has a better mouthfeel than store-bought food with a strong vegetal aroma. My rabbit food is graded as if it were matcha tea. Anyway, I got it to be fancy; I figured he'd like fat-looking food, and I was right; his poop is magnificent. When he ran out of this food and had to eat grocery store pellets, he became enraged, hungry, and developed what I believe to be a stress-related snuffles flare-up. He was enraged to the point of being hysterical. He's been back on this brand (I graduated him to the old-school brand) for a while now. His irritated snuffles have calmed down (they're still fat pellets, but they're now more round, like him). All of this, I'm sure, has some significance, so five stars.

Excellent marketing, but proceed with caution
3/5

So, at first, I thought this food was the best on the market, but I'm not sure why this Alfalfa formula for Adult Rabbits is being promoted. br> I know rabbits can eat alfalfa in small amounts, but I'd look for this formula in Timothy Grass. Because of the calcium content in this formula, giving these pellets to your adult rabbit will cause Bladder/Kidney issues. This could explain why this pellet is causing problems in some rabbits. br>br>For very young rabbits, I would recommend this formula.

My bunnies adore these chunky pellets
5/5

My two lop bunnies aren't picky eaters, so I can't say that they prefer this food over the pellets they already have. Pellets are usually a big hit with them. This one is also a hit with them. However, one significant difference I noticed is how chunky and larger these pellets are in comparison to the others I've previously fed them. In addition, the color is darker than that of other pellets. I've attached a video of my bunnies eating their tasty pellets in the hopes that it will be healthier for them.

My picky bunny's only food of choice
5/5

This food is fantastic; I've been feeding it to my bunny for 6 years and she's still healthy and happy. I started her on a food that included a mix of pellets, seeds, and other treats when she was young. My little brat would ignore her pellets and pick out all the good stuff (seeds and treats). She, on the other hand, adores these pellets and becomes enraged if her bowl is even close to being empty. I've done a lot of research on what a proper diet for my bunny should be, and this food is perfectly balanced, so I'm comfortable feeding it to her. It's pricier than Kaytee or other low-cost brands, but I want to give my bun the best possible nutrition, and I believe this is it.

BUGS!   Purchases should be avoided
3/5

BUGS! We've been feeding this food to him for quite some time, and I've seen a few bugs in his cage. I didn't think much of it at the time. I haven't looked in the storage container since I put a new bag in a week ago because my daughter feeds and waters him on a daily basis. I couldn't believe what I saw when I opened it tonight! This is a nightmare! It's revolting! I poured a couple of cups into a bag to see how many pellets were inside. They're swarming in the bag! Now I'm worried that our bunny will become ill. BUY THIS FOOD AT YOUR OWN RISK!.

Bunny crack is what it's called
5/5

I mean that in a positive light. The bunnies abandon all other foods in order to eat this. Only fresh kale appeals to them. I'm glad it's made with the best-looking ingredients and doesn't contain any odd-colored components. They won't be able to choose from any of the options. This is devoured by both the older Rex and the younger lionhead. Because it's only available at Petco and I don't have one near me, I order it online. Bun consumes about one bag per month.
