My son and I used to buy the guinea pig food that was on sale at the time whenever we needed a refill but it meant I was constantly buying different brands and some of them had tons of filler, colorful junk that my piggy would just pass by and not even touch. The only food I buy for my pig is this one it consumes every bit of it. Due to the fact that I know that this food is sufficient with nutrients for him, I subscribed to a monthly delivery plan. To ensure they get a sufficient amount of fiber, you should still buy hay separately for them.

It is extremely difficult to keep my guinea pig from eating all the colored pieces of most variety pellets because she is very picky about food. Due to the fact that it contains hay, veggies, and fruit, and the pellets are not very big, it makes it difficult for her to do that. Her favorite foods are available to her and I do not feel like the food is wasted.

Although I don't enjoy giving poor reviews, I think it would be remiss of me not to report my experience with this product. Packaging was excellent. There seems to be nothing wrong with the green pellets. I did not find any of the ingredients that cause my guinea pigs to squeal with delight during meal times in the formula. Despite their best efforts, they refuse to eat anything in their bowls for the past three days. The guinea pigs love the store brand guinea pig food so much that they must consider this purchase a loss and go back to Giant Food to repurchase it.

We have Abyssinia and American pigs who are very picky eaters, but they definitely enjoy the Kaytee company products, including this food (and they eat it all day!).

I've fed Pancake this food for years and she loves it! I refill her bowl constantly, and she goes absolutely bananas over it. Since changing to this food, she seems to be getting better digestion, and I've never seen one react as enthusiastically as she does to dry pellets. I have owned guinea pigs my whole life, but I have never seen one react so enthusiastically to dry pellets. I like the convenience of ordering through Amazon since my grocery store does not have pig food to choose from, so I no longer have to visit the pet store. Also, my pig really enjoys the food. I am also grateful for the vitamin C boost.

One had been cut open with a box cutter and placed in my Amazon box, where it spilled all over. The next was cut in half by a box cutter and put in my Amazon bag. This bag also spilled all over. cancelled my auto ship because of this issue.

I assumed it would be much smaller but it turned out to be rather large. I love it as well, and my little pig loves There is also hay mixed in the grain for little treats for them! The grain looks nice and it has dried fruits, snacks, and treats for them on the side! Seeing her dig around her grain looking for all the goodies mixed among it is so much fun! The next time I buy, I definitely will!.
