After using it for a few months, it worked well for what it was meant for. Easy access to the hay made it easy to fill it had a lot of big holes for easy I had one of my piggies use the opening as a hidey hole to nap in but unfortunately the openings were too wide for that purpose. I have no doubt that this was a comfortable napping spot, but by doing so it also became a potty spot. A free standing wood dispenser that they couldn't crawl into was installed in its place. It's a good product if you don't let your bacon crawl up inside it.

We had a wire hay manger on the outside of the cage before we got it. We noticed that hay from the manger went everywhere outside the cage, and our guinea pig pulled quite a bit of hay out into the cage floor. Eventually, we got this amazing hay bag, and though we were a little concerned when he crawled right in (see pictures), we were able to get rid of all our hay-It is an amazing bag, and we highly recommend it. It is extremely successful for him to crawl right back out of the hole. Those hay bags are awesome!.

For my Guinea pig, this is the perfect feeder as his previous feeder was spilling hay all over the cage all the time. There is nothing better than this. As a result, the food is kept in place and he can eat out of it easily. There will certainly be a savings in food costs with this.

It used to be a chore for me to get hay out of fleece bedding and constantly have to replenish the rack until I discovered this system. Due to the reinforced holes, they have resisted chewing and keep the hay off the bottom of the cage. The piggies have to pull the hay out of the holes themselves. The hay bales fit well in it, and you can easily fill it with hay. You didn't regret spending a dime on it!.

I consider it one of the "best" hay containers I have ever It is warmer outside, and when it is warm enough for them to play outside, I will get another one for their outside hutch. I still find they waste hay, but not as much as they used to. There is no sign of chewing on it!.

This is a great treat for my piggies. Piggies like to climb inside, however, because the holes are small enough to be used as a hammock or a comfy spot. Of course, any pig owner knows that this means they use it as a potty too since they usually sleep and munch on hay for long periods of time. Putting it in the wash after a few days, when it becomes dirty, is the only way to clean it thoroughly. The quality of the product for the price is good enough for me, even though it is cheaply made. In order to block the holes in the fence, I will have to install fencing.
