Questions & Answers
Is there something else you can use to catch the food that kitty eats? If so, can you take the food catcher out so it can go somewhere else?
This is something I have never tried, but I imagine it could be accomplished. At least with the brand of food I use, one "meal" is about 1/8 cup of kibble. Instead of dispensing 8 meals at 10 am, you could program the feeder to disburse four "meals" at 10 am, if you wanted to feed your pet 1/2 cup of kibble at 10 am, for instance. The food would be dispensed in portions of 4/8 cup or 1/2 cup within that time frame.
The answer is no, I think. There is a tab mechanism on the lid which allows the lid to be opened. The tab is flush with the top, and it requires very firm pressure on one end of the tab to open it. There is no way that a cat or dog could perform this
You need a USB adapter to power it. In the USB 1, there is a USB port at the bottom. There are two factors. The USB 2.0 specifications require a power supply of 5 volts on a single wire to power connected According to USB 2, a unit load is defined as 100 mA. A USB 3.0 device requires 100 mA while a USB 2.0 device requires 150 mA. The maximum amount of power a device may draw from the USB 2.0 port is five unit loads (500 mA). The USB 3.0 power supply can supply up to 6 (900 mA).

It's so nice that it plugs into the wall, so you don't have to worry about batteries unless you're going to be away for a long period of time. It's easy to program up to four meals a Each day I give my cat five meals (one wet and four dry). In order to increase his chances of getting smaller meals amidst the day, I give him the smallest amount of food per meal (1). That is a very enjoyable activity for him. A meal can be turned on or off at a specific time. My cat tends to throw up every once in a while due to the on/off feature. I can easily turn off the next meal when he feels better to make up for it, and I can give him a manual meal when he feels better to compensate. As well as the voice recorder, I also like it. It repeats it twice, which is a downside to me. I recorded it for the whole 10 seconds and had to stop, because I was hearing it four times This is how I rephrase The recording is perfect now because I shortened it to 3 seconds. Three times is better than 20 seconds, but it takes more time than three times.
It's one of my favorite foods- I was finally enough stressed by his constant begging that I gave up on it. Installing and setting it up were pretty straightforward. It has worked well so far. The smallest portion size in four meals in a 24 hour period is what is recommended for my cat (16 pounds) on the food she eats (Natures Domain from Costco).
I currently keep it plugged in with no batteries in it. The only disappointment I have is that the food bowl is plastic, but that's my fault. I was looking at too many versions and didn't look at each one carefully. My favorite thing about the food window is that it is reminiscent of a spaceship.
bought this 'snack feeder' for my senior dog, who is 12 years old and has been adopted. There were no houses for him to live in The problem is that I believe he has dog-related allergies A person with Alzheimer's will bark all the time. SECOND DAY. In the hope that this feeder will resolve his nightly puzzling, I am going to add it to his night stands. In addition to recording his typical good night message "Good Boy, Good Night, Mommy loves you" I set up four snack feedings between 9 and 1030 p. m. In the 30 minute and 6 minute intervals It is still early in the morning. The extra snack I plan to give him doesn't appear to be going to make him fat since two portions are equal to one large milkbone treat. Let me know if it works after a few nights so I can update the review. In the winter, I can certainly see the benefit of this machine. While I might be able to feed him early in the morning, I don't think I or my dog will be dealing with freezing cold or snow.
It's nice to see inside the windows because they are easy to see Seeing how much kibble the dog has at a glance is easy. It would disagree with my cat It taunts him to see food through the window. The portion size seems to be consistent, and there is also the comfort of knowing it's pet-friendly. Hack proof (controls are in the lid, and he hasn't figured out how However, no. One brand I went with had a feeding button on the front, but that brand did not. Less then a week after I taught my cat to head butt it, she decided to eat more! )
The only complaint I have is There is a limit of 4 times per day that you can change the portion. I have noticed that it has greatly reduced the begging, but my cat still likes to get my attention when the food drops. I need to make sure the alarm goes off just in case.
My favorite part of this is that it's so convenient to use at night when I work! My cat and I do our best to keep an 8 am - 7 pm schedule She is on a 7pm schedule but I work a lot of nights, so she may be taken to the store an hour late or if my parents remember, they may overfeed her, so being able to control portion size is really helpful. My first confusion came from the fact that one of the control bottoms for meal times was off, which took me a couple days to discover. I was able to fix it easily however. There are a lot of repeating sounds, so if she is in the same room as her food, she'll already be there and it's still repeating, but I do know sometimes if she is far away, she might not hear it until the second repeat. The price seems to be worth it considering how much she loves it!.
In the past, I have purchased various automatic cat feeders for my cat, the last two of which have been donated to the Salvation Army. There was one that was too flimsy and hard to code. It was not flimsy, but the cat had to paw the food in front of her face to get it in front of her face because the food dish was too close to the bowl. With this one, the feeder is very sturdy, the bowl is easy to program, and the cat has enough room to feed with there being enough clearance from the feeder. The system so far appears to be functioning as expected. I also prefer that the battery can be stored and connected to the computer by plugging the charging cable and USB charger into the provided USB port. I guess I could put in rechargeable batteries and charge them up.
I was able to program the device easily and update it as necessary. It was the first time they had experienced a system like this, and they all took to it immediately. In addition to this, we are hoping that because one feeder is bigger and more aggressive than the other, they will both have a chance to eat. As of now, everything seems to be going well!.
My life has been made a lot easier by this database, and I wouldn't trade it Having said that, I gave up on recording because it would go off 2 or 3 times within a minute. By the time the second one came around, my cats had already arrived, and the next ones only made them more scared.
