SunGrow's Reptile Digital Thermometer allows you to keep a close eye on the proper temperature for your reptiles to stay healthy.

Ensures Accurate Temperature Measurement --- Cold-blooded animals, such as reptiles, rely on external sources to maintain their body temperature. A bearded dragon kept in captivity must be kept in an enclosure that can mimic the temperature it would experience in the wild. This device can provide precise measurements that will assist them in feeling at ease in their new home.

Easy To Read, Install, And Use --- This device has a digital display that shows temperature readings in both Fahrenheit and Celsius. It measures temperature in decimal points and is easier to read than a mercury thermometer. To use, simply open the battery cover and insert two LR44 button cell batteries (not included) with the () positive side up. Suction cups are included in the pack to make attaching it to the outside of the terrarium easier.

With Water-Resistant Remote Sensor Probe --- This monitoring system comes with a water-resistant remote sensor probe that can be used to check temperature in both dry and wet substrates. Please keep in mind that only the sensor is water resistant, so the display unit should not be submerged.

I value the thermometer's accuracy and dependability. It's convenient to be able to turn off the device when it's not in use in order to conserve the battery, which is a small lithium watch battery. When it comes to changing the water. To avoid shocking the fish, I make sure to only raise or lower the water temperature by a few degrees. As a result, having a digital thermometer that displays temperature changes to the tenth (1/10) degree can alert me to any drastic changes that could be shocking. I've also used it to check the thermostats in the variable tank heaters for accuracy.

This was used to keep an eye on the temperature of the baby cockatiel's surroundings. It was wonderful not to bother the girl while still keeping an eye on her. After a while, it turns itself off; to see the temperature, you must press the button.

I really like how universal they are! It also hangs on a pin or comes with suction cup holders for a tank, which I use for my fish tank and my Desert Turtles Burrow outside

It's a bad idea

Even in the photo, it appears to be intended for use in a reptile cage. However, the thermometer's instructions state that it should be used in a water-filled aquarium. We bought it to put in our bearded dragon tank, but it doesn't fit. Even though it is depicted in a picture, it would suffice.

The use of an LR44 battery is required

Not AA. Two AA batteries are required, according to the description. False. It is necessary to use an LR44 coin battery. There isn't a battery included. It's also for fish, according to the packaging. It was purchased to keep track of the temperature inside a brooding box. I'm not sure if it'll be sufficient for this purpose because it didn't come with one.

Title. It's simple to read (in the right lighting), and it's accurate, but these gall- Things just won't stay put on the tank's side. I ended up removing the sucker cup from the cable and simply allowing it to dangle where it needed to.

I am not pleased

It was supposed to be yellow, but I got black instead. Temperature is not accurately registered by it. I was disappointed, but I didn't want to return it because it was so inexpensive.
