like that they are small so I can put them in the corner of my leopard gecko's enclosure and they don't take up a lot of temperature and humidity, but I put them in another room, and within a short time they adjusted to the correct room temperature and humidity. I'm impressed with how accurate they are and how quickly they adjust. The product is great! I will order again.

How do I know which one is correct? If I add a fourth meter to the system, the temperature and humidity would have four different values. There is no way this can be right! It has been determined that one of the meters was inaccurate. Which one was it? Therefore, I must conclude that something was wrong with them all. I'd say don't waste your time or money on these for your pets if accuracy is a must.

I would not recommend purchasing. Initially, they were accurately reading temperatures for about a week, then suddenly started always reading 20° below freezing and confirmed multiple times that they were Don't engage in any activity that looks like this. Hydro and temperature gauges on my other thermostats read very differently they aren't very accurate. All three are reading different values than my other thermometers.

I also appreciate the size and simplicity when I want to use them as a cigar humidor in particular. The most concerning thing I have about their accuracy is that I am receiving mixed signals. In this case, I'm torn between 3 and 4 stars for accuracy, but it's difficult to be sure how accurate my gauge is or whether it is valid, so I'm rounding up and giving it a pass. Here's a photo showing the hygrometer I have in my humidor next to another one and even after a few hours, the readings are quite different even after that hygrometer has been in there for a few hours. I was surprised a few weeks ago to notice that the large digital hygrometer I pictured at the beginning was reading much lower than the analog dial integrated into According to the analog dial here, it reads 82 percent, and the digital one reads 71% and 64 percent. While one of these three units was 63% humidity and 65 degrees, the other two were 4 degrees. There are three degrees in Celsius. Ideally we would compare the 3 packs separately, but since they were a 3 pack I compared them in a comparison This is an approach based on science. Similarly, I have photos of two other thermometers that sit next to each other as well as a meat thermometer where the probe is resting in the air, unattached to any surface. Each one of them is within inches of each other in a room without any blowing air or vents about. There is an overhead light probably 3 feet above the ground made up of LED bulbs. This is exactly what I need for my small incubator and reptile terrarium. There is a fereinheit temperature reading as well as a humidity reading. I think it is pretty close to what I saw on my larger display. The batteries required for this device are two AG13 cells. If you have the batteries in, the sliding cover for the batteries shuts well. But if you take the batteries out to store extras, the cover won't shut properly. The fact that you can buy 3 of these for around $10 is a great There is no mention of whether it is water-resistant when I need to spray the terrarium. I would guess that if it can handle humidity, it should be able to handle some droplets as well. When the circuits are shorted, an update will be done. I wish it was possible to switch the display so that the bigger number is displayed as temperature and the smaller number is displayed.

I find these gadgets to be very useful. Three of the samples I received show similar measurements two are almost identical and one is quite close to the mark. It is just a ballpark estimate that I need. Their strengths are that they're affordable and they work. Their weaknesses are that they aren't robust. They are easy to read and display clear information. I would say that they're only problem is that there isn't a clear mounting method, and they get knocked over when you just stand them on their side (there is a lip and they're close together). Most of my small items such as these are hung up using Velcro, and it doesn't really work The battery door moves around a lot, and there's little room on the back for attachments without interfering with it. The bezel on the front is almost indistinguishable from the rest of the phone. No way would you be able to double-check The batteries need to be taped to the back, otherwise you won't be able to change them. You might be able to double-stick tape the front if you have to look at it through the enclosure glass, but it would be a hassle to take it off to clean it Wouldn't reptile enclosures or other equipment have a dedicated place where these could be snapped They are used for plants and climate control, so I'm not sure what they are used for. For three of them, it isn't a giant deal at this price point.

Those are for my leopard gecko cages/aquariums. They will be on different sides of the tank, one on the cool side and the other on the warm side so I can keep both spots at the right temperature. This is a small, unobtrusive tank add-on that does not distract from the centerpiece The fact that they come in a set of three makes me want another set since I have three tanks and they are Considering how accurate they are and how they compare to my larger ones, I will probably switch over to these instead. The batteries used in these are small cells. Leopards do not need humidity unless they are shedding, so I keep one of their moist hides on the bottom of their tank so that when they shed, I can keep the humidity up.
