Adjustable in the sense that the output can be changed, but not in the sense that a particular humidity can be set. The mist output can be adjusted to low, medium, high, and it has a timer for how often it will turn on, as well as how long it will run. In my opinion, this wouldn't make a good

The effectiveness of this is hard to determine, I believe it doesn't work

It seems to me that this thing does not work. My screen is pretty much always on the same number and it doesn't move no matter what I do. Once my humidifier arrives I will give it a try more, but at only five dollars I can take it back if it doesn't work.

My hygrometers are located in the same spot as exoterra hygrometers. Neither of them read more than These are two of the items I bought. In one case, the reading was 94% and in the other case, A totally unreliable source of information.
