While I haven't measured the exact temperature inside my beer fermenting freezer, I can tell you that it gets hot enough to melt a thick vinyl hose completely in half. You would probably burn yourself if you touched it while it was on because of how hot it would be.
It doesn't seem like they differ at all. A ceramic heater's wattage is more important than its color when it comes to how much heat it emits. A 60W, a 75W, and a 100W have all been used The temperature in the tub and age of the bird affects the size of the 100W wattage I use for my chicks and ducks.
However, it would be pretty hot even though it would not be exactly right. You could potentially burn something with that amount.
While I have not used that method, I do use a base board thermostat that cycles on and off to maintain the desired temperature.

The bearded dragon belongs to my son, so I purchased it to keep him I have been pleased with how it has worked He kept the tank as warm as he did with the 75W infrared light bulb that he previously used. This heat emitter is the one I chose instead of another heat emitter for the following reasons UL certification and lower wattage (runs 24 hrs a day--saving you money) are listed on the product description (running 24 hrs a day--saving you money I wanted something safe to sit on). We received the product but are unable to find the UL listing. It is not possible to see the "UL" symbol on the box and ceramic heat emitter. Also, I searched the Underwriters database for this product and it does not appear to be available. As far as I can tell, the wrong product description was provided.
It is close to our small chicken coop. The purpose of it was to keep the water from freezing. When the water bottle was kept in a coop with feathered body heat in 20 degree weather, it There were only a few feet between it and We found that the bulb's surface DOES become extremely hot to the touch, but the heat appears not to be radiating out at all, as we expected. A bulb this size would probably be fine to warm up a cage indoors by a few degrees, but it will not be powerful enough for outside. Choose a bulb that is 100W or stronger for outdoor use. In case of hatching in the nest, we WILL use this to keep the babies warm.
This is what I use for an outdoor cat shelter that I keep for feral cats, and it keeps it at the right I don't want it to be too hot or too cold. People probably use it for reptiles most of the time. As an alternative to heat bulbs, which usually emit some sort of light and may interfere with animals' sleep patterns, this is a good product. This product is definitely worth a shot. I have been using it for five weeks straight, and it is still effective.
The Exo Terra 40, (36 x 18 inches), is the one I own. As a rescuer, I wanted to provide them with adequate heat to keep them healthy after I rescued two leopard geckos from a neglectful owner. As a result, I've heard of a lot of return cases at the pet store I work at due to the light from a typical heat bulb. Heat elements made from ceramic are meant to last many times longer than traditional bulbs, which is a very good thing. Also, the price is reasonable. It is about the same as other heat bulbs of the same size.
I like that it doesn't emit light, because I don't have to worry about it interfering with my sleep or casting an unnatural red glow during the day.
This is what I used for my parakeets all winter long. There is a draft in my house that makes my house feel cold. It uses very little energy, but is an excellent product for a standard lamp, I used it in. I turn it on next to the bird cage when it gets particularly cold. Keeping them warm and happy, it's a favorite with the birds. Fire risks make it necessary for me to only use it at home.
Perches beneath heat lamps are a bird's favorite, so I positioned them directly under them 11" down from the heat lamp. Their investigation quickly led them to discover it is indeed the warmest spot in the cage (the cage's glass front keeps in heat better during the winter) so they return there throughout the day to visit and sleep under it in case it gets too cold. During the winter, there are other perches nearby that can be moved to if it is too warm and still get some warmth. Heat lamps don't emit light that burns birds' eyes, so this lamp is safe for birds. I am also saving energy by not using the portable indoor radiator I had next to their cage last winter to help keep them warm when it got cool inside. In cases where the cage gets a lot of air circulation or is very big, you may have to go up a If they are allowed to perch next to or under heat lamps, make sure they have an option on how close to get.
Delivery was quick and the item was in good condition when it arrived. The packaging was great, which made it impossible for any broken items to be lost or damaged. Thanks for your assistance, and I am happy to recommend this product since we are more than satisfied with it.
The ambient air temperature is used to create a thermal gradient for my ball Python. This emitter keeps the cool side of this heater at 80 degrees (about 86 degrees directly beneath the lamp in the middle of the enclosure), while the heat pad hot spots at 90 degrees. My cat was much more active the very first night she had the lamp installed (she used to come out only for a few hours in the very early hours of the morning but now she is active throughout the As of now, I am loving it! There is only one con, namely that it has nuked any humidity that the tank was holding by at least 20%, so be ready to counteract Please note *edit* In order to achieve the desired humidity, I have used Zoo Med's Forest Floor substrate which is easily moistened by simply pinning water directly to the It is important that you don't add too much, since all you're doing is revising Make sure the mulch is hydrated.
