You can use it for bearded dragons and other species as well. I've used them for box turtles, lizards, and snakes and they last forever. Hope this helps.
There is a statement on the box to the effect that the product is waterproof. Under no circumstances should you It's okay to have a little humidity or misting.
Approximately 8 inches wide, the Mini Rock Heater has a metal base. A6 is 4x6. 6" by 1" 9" in length. Small cages will find this cage to be perfect.
In my cage for sugar gliders, I am hoping to use this rock to provide them with a warm spot if they need I'm not sure how big of an area it will keep warm, since it always has at least one layer of fabric over it and, as it does not seem to radiate a lot of heat. Rocks are supposed to be at a temperature of about 101 degrees on their outside surfaces.

It is the first time my bearded dragon has avoided Take a look at the video to learn It won't happen to you or your beloved because neither of you can afford it. Don't be sucked in by the bargain price thinking it will never happen to you! While I regret leaving my lizard on the stone, I hate to imagine how I may have undermined his trust in me as a caregiver. Do you know what "Zoo Med" means? That is a rather ironic name.
As a new owner of a bearded dragon, I was worried that even though this shows one on the box and it is advertised for them, these may burn your beardie because they are not able to feel heat coming from below as well as heat coming The display is still used for decoration and my son really likes to sit on it, but we will not be connecting it. You should take great care to research the accessories you buy for your pet and be careful!.
Despite the weather still being cold in his habitat, I purchased this for my puppy bearded dragon on a whim. Due to some reviews claiming it gets too hot, I put it through a test run before installing it. I honestly believe that it truly gets very very hot almost to the point of being too hot to touch. If I cover it with some tree trunk material, I think it will work well as my dragon will not be able to lay directly on the rock, His only way to stay warm is to get on top of the trunk. don't recommend using just bare rocks for use without covering them. I think a lizard will get hurt by bare rocks.
I have a Bearded Dragon called Pete who loves this. At times, I think our team prefers it over heat and UV lamps. The heater doesn't have a temperature control and you just plug it in and it works. His favorite part is that it feels like a rock or ceramic. In addition to it being good for his stomach, it will make it easier for him to digest his meal. The cable is plugged into my computer all day every day. Some days I turn the heat off for awhile or overnight while he sleeps, but the next morning I sometimes wake up and find him looking at it like he's trying to figure out what happened to my heater. But for these reasons and health reasons, this is in my opinion an extremely good choice.
I would highly recommend it. As he usually sets the hot spot a lot during the day and I see him on it at night, you need not be concerned about it being too I'm sure that if it was getting too hot, Pete would have fried already. He doesn't leave much room for movement anyway when he stays on, and of course if it gets too hot he can get off.
Using this mini rock heater as a secondary source of heat for my female leopard gecko, I keep her warm. As my primary heat source heats most of the tank in a 10 gallon terrarium, I rarely need to use it. The heat is not excessive, but it does get to be really pleasant to feel. Her sleeping habits have developed well enough that she sleeps on it often (even unplugged and when It took me some time to get used to it because I had heard horror stories about other heat rocks having bad hot spots and burning animals, so I waited for it to heat up As soon as it seemed to be steady on heating, I checked to make sure that the heating was distributed evenly. It is more than big enough for my large leopard gecko. I have an adult leopard gecko and this is the ideal size for It might be wise for me to go up to the medium size if I had more than one gecko.
Love this product. Should have reviewed it much sooner but I have been using it for approximately 2 years now and it still works perfectly. We use it to watch leopard geckos and other similar animals but we also use it to watch chicks and ducklings and it works well. Any price under $15 at the time we bought it was a great deal when compared to the Petco near where we live. We never had any problems with it getting too hot or not being hot enough, so the price was perfect.
This is what I've been using since I obtained my geckos and they work well. The only issue I have with them is they get really hot and the last one I had (which lasted about a year and a half) cracked in My only reason for saying that is that I have never dropped it. There was no other possible explanation for why it The glass did not break completely, but when I noticed the crack, I had to take it out because it started getting too hot. There is no doubt that I would recommend this product. Don't worry about it, just stay alert. A 8. 5/10.
My eastern land turtle can now have area heat when he wants it when I get this for him. In order to regulate himself and his actions, he takes the following steps As long as he is not overheated or burned, it's safe for him. The heater heats evenly & efficiently Neither gets too hot nor too cold. In summary, it is a very good.
