The rope is included in the package.
Yes, it is possible to hang it from the top of the screen. That's where you'll find mine. To keep it in place, I used a cable/bread tie.

I'm not sure why I can't attach pictures. So far, everything appears to be in order. Although it is a little large for my terrarium, I believe it will satisfy my Leppard gecko. br>br>Recent changes: br>br> br>This purchase has pleased both me and my gecko.
This is a big hit with my crested gecko. I filled it with sphagnum moss.
I'm sure they're either one-of-a-kind among the many they make, or cookie-cut to ensure they're all sent out looking the same, but mine has one large hole and two smaller holes. Because they're not in the same place (lower), moss accumulates on both. Because the top has an odd lip, the extra top piece of cut coconut meant to secure the rope hangs at an angle. To help with the oddness, I simply tied an extra rope through the two smaller holes and suctioned it to the corner. But, regrettably, I would not buy it again. However, I believe the concept is fantastic. Especially the three holes, which allow you to see your crestie and allow them to enter and exit with ease! (If your holes are properly cut).
It's the perfect size for my geckos' cage, and he seems to enjoy it. The suction cup works great; it's only fallen off once, but with a quick clean, it's back to normal. A fantastic product in general.
This was purchased as a gift for my daughter's crested gecko. As you can see, she has a pretty sweet set up, and this coconut hide is her absolute favorite, which she sleeps in and rests on. I tied it through the screen type grate at the top with a needle and cross stitch floss.
The coconut was a little bigger than I expected, measuring about 5" in diameter. There is one larger "door" and two smaller "windows" in the home. My smaller rats are able to sleep inside, but my large male does not.
I wasn't sure if my Crestie would like it at first, but he was chilling inside the other day, which made my day:.
I had no idea how big this thing was until I saw it. I added some moss, which I'm hoping will appeal to my mourning geckos.
