Ours was the tinier of the two dimensions you mentioned.
I'd say no; mine is 12 inches and fits perfectly, but it wouldn't fit at twice the size. I hope this information is useful.
Yes, I believe it would in terms of size. This belongs to my son's leopard gecko. That's why it's the ideal size.
All you have to do now is fill it up with the appropriate amount of water. It's a lid for the terra cotta dish that keeps the moisture in the box and keeps the water from evaporating as quickly as it would otherwise. Provide humidity to the cave at the bottom, which is hidden.

It's crucial to remember what kind of environment these geckos are from. They're not looking for huge caves, but rather any rock or crevice they can fit into. I currently have one 7inch and one 5inch gecko who both lay in it at the same time, despite the fact that they have other options to lay in that are more spacious, and they frequently choose this hide, though I'm not sure how this would add more humidity to the tank than a regular water dish.
I was hoping to use this as a humid hide for my leopard geckos (currently using cave hide with damp moss) and wanted to remove the moss and use this instead, but it doesn't get humid at all using the Under Tank Heat pad. You might get better results if you use an over tank heater but I only use UTH with a basking light for a few hours around midday, so it just didn get% I have 2092% humidity in a regular hide so I will return to moss.
This was purchased for my 2-year-old leopard gecko, who is approximately 7-inches long. 8 inches in length Although this hide is a little on the small side, he appears to be able to fit comfortably inside at the moment. If he grows a lot bigger, I'll have to get a bigger hide, but for now, it'll suffice as a basic moist hide, and it's pretty much what I expected. It's also a water bowl/bath, which is a plus. br>br>The only issue I had was that it only came in a bubble mailer with no other protection, so I wouldn't have been surprised if the little terracotta dish arrived broken if it had been handled roughly during shipping. However, mine arrived in perfect condition, so I'm not docking any points, but keep that in mind when making your purchase.
I was hesitant to buy it because I prefer her case to be as "natural" as possible, but she adores it. She is always inside her cage when I enter it. If there was one thing I could change, it would be to make the top dish deeper. It always seems to be dripping wet.
I'm very pleased with this purchase; however, I wish the dish was a little deeper for when we go on a long vacation. We refill it every three days and fill it with moss.
It's a favorite among our adult leopard gecko. I wish it had a bottom because the water container on top keeps it moist. We've currently placed it on an old plastic lid to keep moisture in the hide rather than on the habitat's bottom.
The terra cotta water dish does not fit snugly in the plastic housing. As a result, if you overfill it with water, it will spill into the habitat! I'm not complaining, though, because of the price! My geckos adore this cold box, and I'll definitely buy another one as my geckos grow and require a larger habitat.
Although it appears to be a good buy and it performs as expected, adult leopard geckos will find it a tight fit.
