"You get what you pay for," as the old adage goes, and this cheaply made brush is no exception. I had hoped that the flimsy plastic bristles would dig into the coat, but they don't. It's difficult to hold the curved handle because it's so large and bulky. The handle is connected to the bristles by a gap in the plastic, making it even more difficult to use. I gave it two chances before discarding it. I don't think it's a good idea to try it.
I had this brush for about two weeks before the entire top fell off. I still have the brush, but all of the tacks are sticking out, making it impossible for me to hold onto it. It was disappointing.
The design is fantastic. This brush is now my go-to brush because the bristles are about a medium coarseness. It will remove mud and shedding hair, but it will not be too stiff. My horses seem to like the feel of this brush, and I like how it fits in my hand comfortably.
My beloved old dandy brush "disappeared," so I needed to replace it but didn't want to spend too much money. br>For the price, this one is fantastic. This purchase has made me very happy!.
The bristles aren't as stiff as I expected, but I used it on my filthy horse today and it worked perfectly.
The handle came off the brush within two weeks of using it, despite the fact that I did not use it too roughly or throw it around in any way. The snap-in holes in the handle aren't going to stay snapped. It was a letdown, but I suppose you get what you pay for.
It's a difficult brush to work with. I'm at a loss for words. It accomplishes the task at hand. The construction appears to be in good condition. I ordered blue, and the color is exactly as shown.
It was well worth the money. It does not appear to be easily broken. In less than two days, it was delivered to my home.
