Questions & Answers

How tall must you be to qualify? A hoof stand for a 40" pony is what I am looking for. ?

A minimum of half an inch must be used. The little guys may find it a bit of a stretch. I bought mine since I was working with a Percheron-type dog It's heavy and he stands very well, but he is very heavy. This is for ponies & donkeys I tend to get on one knee and rest their foot upon my leg when I speak to minis. For me, it is awkward for them, it is comfortable. main thing is to not lift the hoof more than the hock, that will cause discomfort to the cow.

Can the height be changed easily?

In short, yes. Using the lower ring, the pin is adjusted by pulling it. For this purpose, it This helps you place the bottom of the hoof over the ball, and it also makes filing easier. When you pull the upper ring, this allows you to lower the shroud, which allows you to place the bottom of the hoof over the ball. I hope this has been helpful!

Do you have any experience using this product on ?

This should work fine for goats as well. The stand is very nice.

Could a draft horse be supported by this? Do you know the 18Hand Percheron (18 Hand)?

A draft horse's foot can be held up on this stable. In this way, you and the animal can work on the foot without trying to hold it up. Horses that are inclined to move about can cause the basket to tip over.

Very user-friendly metal stand - Heavy duty and very sturdy Exactly what I was looking for! A great stand that is easy to use
5/5

The hoof stand I left behind by the fence has been stolen since I left it there. Besides filing hooves, it did not have a cradle so I could only use it for that. It cost me only $50 when I bought it awhile ago, and no other similar product could be found. The cradle is an unexpected bonus! It was the most affordable option I could find to replace the old one, and I assumed I would not use it, but I love In order to lower the cradle for filing, you need to remove the pins. The product is well made and heavy-duty To step on it, you step on a metal plate with a diamond pattern. To protect the hoof, the cradle and filing post both have a softer but not too mild foam. I am so happy to receive this item! As a result I thought I'd leave a review since I haven't seen too many reviews for this wonderful.

I have never seen anything like this before! That's what we've been looking for
5/5

There are two horses at the barn, one 15 H and another Standing on the stand, you can adjust it to meet your needs. I was impressed with the product and the cost was a great deal. I was able to hold my rasp easily with the magnets on the side. I paid much less for it but it looks and feels much more expensive. This would have been a good purchase if I would have bought it makes it easy to trim the hoofs at the front and back. One of the things I love about it is that it saves my back!.

The construction is excellent, and it's well worth the price! Arriving at the site, I was surprised to find it to be much heavier built than I had anticipated! This set was easy to put together (nuts, bolts, washers, and lock washers were included in a small baggie), but I find it very difficult to drop the cup and expose the post
5/5

There is no weight penalty that makes it difficult to carry from point A to point B, but it is still strong enough that I feel comfortable larger horses won't fall out of it or damage it. A thick, dense rubber liner covers the cup and the post of the stand. On either side of the stand, there are two strong magnets. A simple painting process My boarding facility uses one that is painted to distinguish it from others. As a result, the stand was too tall to use the post with the cup dropped, but the cup can be easily removed, giving the post more room to drop. That's a great stand, I really like it!.

I like how good it is for the price
5/5

In my opinion, this hoof stand is much better than I expected. It's made of heavy gauge steel (not plastic), and looks as though it can withstand lots of REAL use for a long time to come. I need it to do all the things I need it to do, so it's obviously designed by a farrier Featuring a robust rubber cradle that holds the hoof cleanly for trimming, it flips into a post for rolling edges at the touch of a button. Strong magnets on the side allow me to keep my rasp where I want it with ease. Trimming hooves on this stand has been much easier, and I have saved my back a lot of time and effort. My recommendation of this product would be without a doubt.

I can't believe how great of a back saver is the Farmer Stand
5/5

It was comfortable for horses to stand with their legs raised. As compared to clamped between the fidgety human legs, their leg seems more relaxed when resting on this. This is a very sturdy and well-built product for us Standing up for what he believed in.

I am pleased to report that tough 1 has again delivered a great product
5/5

A tough one is what I like. There are two different tops as the photos do not show it. This stand was discovered by my terrier and he loved it.
I have been very pleased with all tough 1 products we have used. As well as muzzles and hay bags, I have gotten the horses' transport equipment.

This is a good deal for the money
3/5

I thought it was a good stand for the price - my only complaint was that my rasp hit the cradle when top dressing the hooves. I think the center should have been higher to make the interface work better. Another thing that happened was the rubber pad tore off with the horse's foot moving. Most likely, this is the better way to go. When you need it, you can easily remove the cradle from the top when it's.

Hoof jack that is very nice
5/5

Hoof jacks worth buying if you want something strong and durable. I see nothing wrong with this chair. It doesn't tip over, and it's easy to attach and adjust. My only complaint is that the shortest setting is still too high for my 13-year-old daughter. It's hard to be productive with a pony that's only 1 hh, but we manage.
