As a female in my 60's, I am not as strong as I used to be, but I can make quite a bit of progress using this rasp!.
Although it is obvious right away how much more material the rasp grabs compared to what I'm used to using with my Heller Black Master. It was also more straightforward and faster than it had been due to less resistance. A second surprise for me was to discover that the rasp is not directional - this was quite a relief. Turn it around to rasp backwards, so you don't need to turn it around. I was also surprised by how lightweight and slim it is. I'm glad I purchased it because I think it's a good tool. The medium was delivered to me.
It's 5 stars now, but if I could give it 6 stars, I would. My today's task was trimming the hooves of a miniature donkey with very overgrown feet. Having trouble finding a farrier willing to work on a donkey was problematic for the owner. I was not happy with the donkey's behavior. In which she was nipping one at a time Getting the donkey out of the stall was difficult since it had just snowed. Also, the stall needed cleaning and was damp (we just had a storm The temperature was 18 degrees, so we can understand). We saved the day with the Cody James. My nippers did not need to be used because this substitute worked. It made the donkey a lot more comfortable, and I was able to get many more hoofs There was no shortage of energy in the Cody James. Despite using Heller Excel rasps, I kept running into clogs because of The Cody James made the job so much easier, despite the fact that it was still a tough one. To my toolbox, this rasp has proven to be a great addition. It's just a matter of getting I saw one like this today so you'll have one on your truck for those tough situations. (Original Review Posted Using the Cody James Rasp for the first time was a great experience. Trimming the trees in the snow is what I did. Trimming my beard for about 20 years, I have worked on just about every rasp currently available. In my opinion, the Heller Excel Original is the best raspberry right now. There is something to be said for Cody James rasp. I am confident that it will deliver the results I need. It's not better than the $27 I paid for it. The Heller Excel range is from 00 to 600. There seems to be no difference in hoof removal with the Heller Excel and it produces a much smoother finish right from the start. I don't like the fact that I have to come back with another rasp to remove the marks left by Then maybe I will change my mind after using it on a few more horses in a variety of weather conditions. In the meantime, I'm giving it 3 stars since I think it's an overrated film. Additionally, it can cost as little as $40 compared to the $400 price.
I am in awe! The aggressive version is great as well, that's why I bought another so that I have both the medium and aggressive versions. Looking for a There is no better way!.
The six horses and donkeys I own and trim I am the only one doing. As I also have Elhers Danlos Syndrome, it has been extremely challenging for me to trim more than one animal per day since my hands basically give out from pain. It was so easy to use this rasp that I cried because I was so pleased with how smoothly it moves and was able to erect my entire barn in one day without feeling sore. To be able to switch between the aggressive and medium rasps, I ordered the aggressive one first and then the medium refill. The raspberry has helped me find a new hobby and now I plan to keep it forever!.
Product is awesome! I bought the medium and will buy the fine one as well she said.
Our donkeys' hooves are notoriously hard to trim.
It does not get clogged. This is the best raspberry I have ever tasted. Maintains a clean and open appearance.
