Questions & Answers
Yes, this is a Woof boot, and it's a small black one. Please accept my apologies for the lack of clarity on Amazon.
We have two 14'2 ponies who take smalls in the front and mediums in the back.
A large size should suffice.
Because these boots are typically worn to protect the splint bone area, I find that the Woof boots are very forgiving in terms of WIDTH but not so much in terms of HEIGHT. Having said that, I have two different size sets (fronts and hinds) for different purposes. While riding my 16-speed bicycle. I use XL for the hinds and L for the fronts of my two bulky warmblood geldings. This ensures that the protection is at the right height. However, at the barn where I board, we use L for the front and back turnout to make things easier for the people who put them on. On the hinds, a large works well (though it could be taller) and is ideal for the front. So, if your TB has good bone (but isn't too spindly), I'd go with M for the front and L for the back.

Will be exchanging for a larger size; I ordered a small for my pony based on other reviewers' recommendations, and they're a little tight. I've included a photo of the wraps' size chart.
Because I wanted more air circulation around my horses' legs, I switched to Woof Wear brushing boots from Professional's Choice Sport Medicine Boots. I wanted to protect his legs from interference while we were riding without overheating them, and there isn't much evidence that boots help tendons. Brushing boots are simple to put on and take off. My 18-hand American Warmblood was able to wear the XL in both the front and back. I wish the larger sizes had more color options; Having issues with draft horses.
These are what I use to school and trailer my horse around town. I like the price and color options, so I have several sets that I rotate every day.
Brushing boots like these are fantastic. The large is a perfect fit for my 17h WB fronts.
Several grooms and trainers recommended him to me. My warmblood mare is a big cannon with short legs. She needs a boot with a big circumference but a short height. These are the only boots in a medium size that fit her fronts comfortably. Cleaning and putting them on is a breeze. They also stay dry when it's raining or hot outside. My horse has made it clear that she prefers these for her work, and I prefer them because of their low cost and ease of use. I ended up purchasing a second set, this time in a different color.
These brushing boots are fantastic. They're simple to put on and take off, as well as being comfortable and protective for the horse's legs. They're also very easy to clean. They're also inexpensive and come in a variety of bright colors.
My horse is rough on boots, so the Wolf Wear Sport Boots last a long time; he also has large feet, so the boots are essential for him.
The boots are fantastic, and everything arrived in perfect condition and on time. For hid brushing boots, I bought a size large for a 16 hh TB, and it fits perfectly. It passed the water test with flying colors and was easy to clean.
