Questions & Answers

What are the dimensions of the horses?

Yes. They're on a 17 for me. 3hh QH, which works despite the fact that I wish they overlapped a little more. I'm guessing they'd work best on a horse that's between medium and large in size.

Is it washable in the machine?

Maybe in a front-loader, but why would you want to do that? I just hosed them down and let them dry naturally.

So, do you think these would fit into a size 16? 1 Warmblood gelding, please. He doesn't have a lot of muscle mass. ?

I'm not sure they'd fit a 16 in there. 1 WB. On my 15, I used them. 3 Appy, and they were just right for him in terms of size.

Protection that is both effective and affordable
5/5

They have a smooth nylon lining, which is why I bought them. (Fleece is used by the majority of shipping boot manufacturers. ) I've always been perplexed by fabrics that collect shavings like Scrooge McDuck collects money. ) The Velcro on my old nylon-based jacket. It was time to replace my lined boots (from 15 years ago), which had finally given up the ghost. I purchased Pessoa boots a few years ago to replace the boots on my horse, who travels frequently. While I still like and use those boots, the Velcro tends to fray the binding on my other horse, so I decided to try something different. These boots are a lot thicker than the Pessoas, which are a little on the thin side, and they provide a lot of coverage and appear to be very durable. It's simple to put them on and remove them. My horse's hind legs tend to stock up, so the hind boots are a little tight. They still fit, but the edges don't meet when the Velcro is closed. This is a 15-year-old horse. Appy who is 3 1/2 hands and wears a size 5 Woof's galloping boot is attached to the back. I'm not sure these boots would fit a Warmblood or other large-breed horse. a horse with broken bones.

So far, everything appears to be in working order
5/5

I went with the 1000-dollar option. D ripstop option (supposed to be green and burgandy, but mine came in green with gray trim). But it's not such a big deal. I'll update my review once I've used them (hopefully in a few weeks), but they appear to have a very tough outer surface and are very well padded for extra protection during transportation.

I've had them for about a month and the stitching is starting to unravel
3/5

I've had them for about a month and the stitching is starting to unravel. The wrong thread is being used, and it is not of industrial strength. For adjustment, the Velcro is not properly placed.
