I'm not sure what size to order. ?

Have a score of seventeen. 2hh Crossbred Warmblood and x-bred Warmblood On him, a large is a snug fit. I finally flipped them over and turned them into pasture protection boots for turnout and stabling (yoga horse) after two years of good, consistent use. This time, I'll go with a double x size.

A large, on the other hand, was not a large at all
3/5

My purple pair of large professionals choice bell boots lasted more than 24 weeks of constant use in a large acerage pasture. One finally gave in to the wear and tear of being stepped on several times a day. I was blown away by how well these boots kept my horse's shoes from slipping off. That being said, the new black boots (size large) that I received are not even close to being a large size, as evidenced by the size differences between the colors in the photo. The Velcro won't even go around my horse's hooves, so I won't be able to use them.

My driving pony is having a great time with it
5/5

In all of my 50 years of working with horses, I've never used bell boots or overreach boots because they were unnecessary. When my pony first got shoes, he "clipped" every now and then, so my farrier advised me to get "bell boots. " Because of the positive feedback, I chose these. They were simple to put on, and my pony didn't seem to mind at all when he first put them on. We went to an event a few days away and he wore them in the trailer about a week later. There will be no issues. Then he wore them for three days, including driving and longing, at the event. There will be no issues. Then he wore them in the trailer back to his house. There will be no issues. They're simple to put on and take off, and I'm very pleased with them.

It was well worth the money
5/5

I feel compelled to give the Tack Shack five stars! I ordered a small chocolate pair of these for my quarter horse, only to find out that I had ordered the wrong size. Even though I'd removed the tags to try them on my mare, the seller had no problem exchanging the boots for a larger size when I contacted them. Of course, I paid for return shipping and even included a prepaid envelope for the new pair to be sent to me, which arrived within a few days. What a pain in the neck! Exchange that is both free and quick. I'd buy from the Tack Shack again because they were excellent. br>br>As for the boots, the material is sturdy, and the Velcro is extremely secure. The boots stay in place exactly as they should. I bought these to replace the ROMA brand I'd been riding with because they were turning while I was riding. These aren't going to turn around. They're fantastic, and the chocolate color is particularly appealing.

Nothing compares to the Professional Choice ones in terms of durability
5/5

Nothing compares to the Professional Choice ones in terms of durability. Because we live in a wet climate, all shod horses wear boots to keep their shoes from being pulled off in the paddock. The glittery sparkles ones, on the other hand, are the most durable. I'm not sure why that is - However, they last me six months - Wear it all the time, every day of the week. We purchase a new pair for the competition. In one cross-country session, one horse in particular will scuff up a pair of bell boots. His competition ones last about 4 xc before being put on in the paddock, according to the Pro Choice. I've tried a few different brands, and these are by far the best.

Boots that aren't too tight and shoes that aren't too loose
5/5

These bell boots, including the rubber pull-ons, last longer than any other pair I've bought. Pulling off shoes appears to be much more difficult with padded boots than with unpadded boots. Despite the fact that the material holds more water than, say, a rubber boot, I do not experience any moisture around the boot. I don't have to worry about the boot turning around because I went up a size. The only issue I have with these boots is the amount of money I spent on them. It would be fantastic to offer a discount to returning customers. br>br>I do have one horse who has figured out how to get rid of them by tearing the velcro with his teeth. I really wish Pro Choice would make a version for horses that is much more difficult to remove.

I finally found a pair of non-turning bell boots
5/5

At a show, these stay put all day, and I don't have to worry about pulling shoes because they turn around. The Velcro is durable, as is the material. I did order a large, and they are slightly smaller than I anticipated, but I believe an XL would have been too large, so I'm still satisfied. My horse is prone to pulling shoes due to overexertion, but these easily withstand the abuse and do not fall off like some others with weaker Velcro.

It has a nice appearance, but it isn't very long-lasting
3/5

Originally, I was a big fan of these boots. The color appealed to me the most; the large black or white rubber ones were too obvious for my sorrel horse, so I preferred the brown color. They do, however, come in very small sizes. My 14. Three horses, each with a size 0 shoe, wore a large that was just big enough. They'd be great for riding and competition, but they don't hold up well in the pasture. Spending nearly $30 on something that will last less than a month is excessive.

If you're between sizes, go for the larger size
4/5

My mare usually wears a medium in bells, but two people at my barn informed me that I needed to order a size larger. I was worried that the large would be too big, so I ordered two. They are, however, a little on the small side. Not so small that she won't be able to wear them, but small enough that I'll have to rearrange the Velcro to make them fit her better. If you haven't seen the size you're ordering in person, you should definitely order a size larger.
