Product Description

REDUCE SWELLING AND PAIN: The ice packs are designed to help hardworking horses with soft tissue aches and pains. Pain from arthritis, sprains, and bruises can all be relieved quickly and effectively.
ONE SIZE FITS ALL - This is a large ice pack that covers the entire length of one leg (40cm/16 inches). Strong velcro wraps around the leg, keeping it secure and compressing it adequately.
FOR A VARIETY OF INJURIES - Stocking up, impact/actue injuries causing joint swelling or bruises, swollen hocks, and as a substitute for cold hosing.
EASY TO APPLY - Place in a freezer (in the bag provided) until frozen; remove and secure around the leg or joint that requires attention using the elastic fasteners; once frozen, the pack will remain flexible and soft to conform around the leg/joint. A small layer of fabric between the ice pack and the horse's skin may be required in some cases.
ROBUST, DURABLE, AND LONG-LASTING - The outer material is a thick synthetic blend that can withstand rough handling without breaking, leaking, or causing damage. Each set is expected to last at least three years.

Do you think these would be suitable for a pony? I have a pony that is prone to stalling, and I'd like to give it a shot. ?

I haven't tried it on horses yet - However, since ponies are small horses, I believe it is worth a shot. The most crucial aspect is to select the appropriate size - I'd go to the usual suspects and, of course, Amazon. Please keep us updated on your progress.

Too Thin
3/5

Nylon square pockets with velcro are used to make these wraps. You try to wrap them around the horse's leg after they've been frozen. You're attempting to wrap a bendable leg in an ice cold rectangular frozen piece. When the horse bends its leg, the fabric is immediately stressed, and it tears away from the sewn-on trim. Then, after putting them on and wrapping them as tightly as I could, I had to stay with the horse to keep them calm because they couldn't walk. After removing them, I discovered that the velcro was poorly sewn and had also come undone. Because my horse requires them, I used upholstery thread to reinforce the stitching. Between the ice wraps and her leg, I tried putting a layer - I believe it is simply too cold on such a delicate part of the leg.

It only lasts about 20 minutes: The product is long-lasting and simple to operate
3/5

This makes me happy and sad at the same time. I'm also grateful that my veterinarian only wants 20 minutes with the horse because I barely get that much time. Advantages: br>br> br>Once you get the hang of the long velcro straps and how to keep them from getting tangled, you'll find that this is a very nice product for the money. The straps are long enough to wrap around your shoulders and give you confidence that it will stay secure while riding. I believe the product will last a long time. I used it six times a week for the first month twice a day, then three times a week once a day for the last month and will continue to use it for the next six months. I have a feeling it will last a long time. br>br>Cons: br>Not all of the gel packs are equally cool. That is incomprehensible to me. Some will be frozen solid, while others will be pliable. I've experimented with it lying flat, folded in half, and rolled up in various locations throughout my freezer. Also, and this is the big disappointment, the packs only last me about 20 minutes. Idea: I wish the product had a flexible lower portion that could wrap around and under the fetlock's lower portion. The individual gel packs are designed in such a way that you can't really get it in and under there. br>br>Summary: br>br> br>It is undeniably beneficial to my horse. There is room for improvement in this product. For the money, it's a great deal. It's a family business, so give them your support. You're going to love it.

Wow! I am blown away! My veterinarian advised me to purchase ice boots for my horse, who is in desperate need of them
5/5

When I started looking and researching, I discovered that the prices were all over the place! From tens of thousands of dollars to pennies on the dollar. There wasn't much of a distinction between them that I could see. The veterinarian sent a photo of the ones they were using on him at the equine hospital, as well as the areas that needed to be touched. Well, I looked and looked and finally found these, and the picture was perfect, and the price was incredibly low, which concerned me a little, but to all potential buyers - You should not be concerned! They're strong, well-made, and extremely functional. I don't have anything to compare them to, but I can't think of anything that would improve them! Thank you very much for the fantastic ice boots!.

Buy them! You'll get a thank-you note from your horse
5/5

This is the most affordable horse leg wraps I've found. For the price of a pair, you can get a full set! They work great, are very sturdy, and my horse seems to enjoy them! I ordered two at first to try them out, but I'm going to order two more. The best part is that they come with a storage bag to keep your freezer tidy! There aren't enough positive words to describe this.

Very nice tendon-like material at a reasonable price
5/5

In a convenient carrying bag, you'll find the type boot. The length is ideal for the lower portion of the body (cannon bone). In a freezer full of black wraps, the bright colors make it stand out. The gel gives you a lot of freedom. Because the Velcro is stitched to the trim rather than the wrap itself, I'm not sure how well they'd hold up on a flexible joint. (The company should seriously consider this upgrade. ) ) I am extremely pleased with this purchase, especially given the low price. I took advantage of the buy one, get one half off deal; all I had to do was contact the seller, who was quick to respond.

Complete the task at hand
5/5

It gets COLD in these. My freezer is home to them. They're what I use on my own calves and shins. The straps have to be wrapped twice before they can be secured on the velcro, which may be ideal for the intended use - equines), but it's a close fit - They're on the verge of losing their grip. Use a pillowcase or something similar to act as a barrier between your skin and the object. I learned the hard way and suffered from ice burn as a result. Overall, these ice packs are of good quality.

So far, everything has gone well! A couple of factors influenced my decision to wear this ice boot: price as well as customer feedback Because I'm on a boarding situation and my ice boot doesn't look like everyone else's, the fact that it's not black is a big plus for me
5/5

I really like the storage bag that came with it, and the small handle makes transporting it from the freezer to the horse a breeze. It's quite simple to put this on once you've gotten the hang of it. Following others' advice, I secured the bottom strap first, then the top, second, third, and so on, readjusting the bottom strap if necessary. I've been wearing it every day for about ten days now, and I've been very impressed with the boot's ability to quickly re-freeze and last a good 30 minutes with minimal "melting. " This is an ice boot I would buy again without hesitation.

It's a big one, but it's comfortable
5/5

I've only used it once, so only time will tell how well it holds up, but so far I'm very pleased with it. It's a substantial structure. It's tall and long enough to cover my horse's front leg from the coronet band to about halfway over the knee. She has reached the age of sixteen. 1hh, that's a lot of time. It quickly became ice cold and stayed that way for the entire 30 minutes I had it on her. When she went for a walk around the barn, it didn't fall off. The closures were long enough to wrap around her leg and keep it securely in place. You can't go wrong for the price.
