Questions & Answers

The inserts come with the boots, or are they an additional cost?

In short, yes. With one set of pads, there are boots included

Do they come in a pair or are they sold individually?

Every single one is for sale separately.

Can the system be booted from just one disc?

No matter how small the need, I use at least two boots on each foot, even if just one Whenever I boot a horse, I provide both front feet with booting so the horse is more balanced and not walking lopsidedly because one foot is booted but not the other. In the event he already has an injury to one foot that requires booting, then he is already off balance, likely overweight and likely to be placing additional weight on the I also want to make the other foot as comfortable as possible.

I want to get a boot for my horse whose hooves are 51/2 by 51/4 in size. What size should ?

Application Guide on How to Measure for Boots 1. To measure the width of the hoof across the sole at the widest point, measure the hoof after it has been freshly trimmed. You will want to measure the length of the hoof from the toe to the heel buttress line. In horseshoes, a buttress line is the distance between the top and bottom of the hoof wall where weight is transferred. Be sure not to include the heel bulbs as part of Below is a size chart you can use to compare your measurements with. As a general rule, the length and width measurements of this boot style should fit into the same size. In the case of different measurements, select the larger size. If the measurements of the width and length of the boot are different by more than one size, this style should be avoided. You can check your measurements against an alternative EasyCare boot to be sure your fit is satisfactory. There is another style that may be more suitable for the shape of your horse's hoof. It seems to be a size 3 from the description. The directions and size chart are included. *br> *br>Size 3 is 5 1/4" and 6.5". -5 3/8" It is 5 7/8 inches long (length)

The laminitic horse is Well, it's been five days since the diagnosis of acute laminitis and I've finally received the boots
5/5

Despite paying for expedited shipping, I didn't get them until now. That's slow, even if you include the weekend. It would be better if these boots were available on Prime, since nobody wants to buy them. They NEED them and they need them now! Anyway, I guess. As a result, I get the shoes. come in a pretty package and are well packed. A booklet with instructions is included with each of There is no need for a brochure to figure them Before I bought the boots, I watched the video presentation on their website that demonstrated how to wear them. My shoes were on by that time. As soon as I put the first boot on, my horse began licking his lips and shifted his weight to the boot. Following that, he cocked a hoof in the rear! Don't forget to keep in mind that this horse has To see him cock one of his back legs was an instant feeling of satisfaction for me since he had been trying to put all of his weight on the hind legs for days. As I evaluated the fit of the second boot, I put the first on. He can comfortably wear them around his hoofs- There isn't a lot of room for manoeuvre. In my opinion, I was not sized up - It looked like they were going to have a gap at the top, so I went by the size chart. Perhaps this is due to the fact that they are new, or else it could be because the material they are made from is strong. He would get shavings down into them, so I stuffed paper towels in the gaps to keep him safe. If that does the trick, then all should be well. There is a possibility that I could make little bell boot type of things from fabric to cover top of the EasyBoot to catch shavings. The paper towels will be tested to see if they I am pleased with how things are going so far. Although he wasn't exactly sure if he should be walking around in them at this point, he wanted to. I don't know if I will turn him into one of them, but he's too lame to make any kind of impact. For decades, I've owned horses, and I still have my original EasyBoot with all the wires and metal closures. The world has certainly evolved a lot since the 1980s! Those had velcro on them that seemed to be pretty easy to use and It seems unlikely he will be able to remove these shoes. The item I purchased met all of my expectations. The brand I wanted to buy isn't available for two more days, so I'm going to buy another one. The brand of that product would have been good for me as well. It just takes a little relief to soothe my horse, so these boots were just what he needed. These boots would be useful for treating abscesses and other hoof problems, as I can certainly see that they would be versatile. It is wonderful to have integrated air holes in the hoof portion of the boot, and I prefer this to any other treatment boot that is rubber/plastic. There is only one drawback - you would have to purchase a pair, and they are quite expensive. Although they are sturdy, I hope they will last a long time. I have already purchased replacement inserts since I am not sure how long they will last. I will update you as they wear out. We wish poor Snickers the best and will keep you posted!.

I am happy with the outcome
4/5

The process is very simple. My Ol Man got them a few days ago and I slapped them on as soon as I got them. Fits very well and is very easy to wear. He had to relax for several hours before he felt comfortable. When he first moved, he refused to do so. Despite his neglected hooves and arthritis, Buddy still suffers from pain. The patient complained of white lines on his chest and abscesses blowing through the coronary band. This was a neglect case that came to me when it became clear that he would need rehab. He was then moved to a home where he may have been unaware of his difficulties. It was much worse this time when he got back to me two months ago. In order to regain the strength in his feet, I found these boots to be the most compassionate option, and I have already seen so many promising results. A lack of pain can be seen on his face. As his movement became smoother, he stopped moving so choppy. As a result of his Easy Boot Clouds, he was back to his normal self within hours. While other therapies take time to work, the Easy Boot Clouds on his front feet provided him with immediate Air circulation is the only thing that has me hesitant about giving this a 5 star review and thus the reason for a 4 star rating instead of a 5 star. The vents do not provide enough air flow to prevent bacterial issues, but I am willing to remove his shoes and clean them daily, as well as allowing the air in to clear. You can put them on in a matter of seconds. The vents are the only issue I see with this, so I will update it to a 5 star review if the vents prove to be sufficient. The overall outlook for Buddy and me is very positive, and we are not anxious about the recovery period when he can feel All my worries about ordering boots turned out to be unfounded.

I bought an upsized boot for my mare after she recovered from laminitis, founder, and an abscess, and the chart doesn't seem to fit well with the boot size
3/5

I measured her front hooves several times and had them verified by another horse owner. I realized from these measurements that she was sitting right in the middle of the size 3 on Easyboot's chart. Even though I was confident that she would fit and that there would be enough room to accommodate normal growth between trims, I ordered only one boot, in case. This boot was much too small for me, much to my disappointment. My order has gotten to the post office, I'm waiting for it to arrive, I've ordered up a size and paid for quicker shipping. It is certain that these boots would make her hooves feel much better on her hurting feet.

Based on the limited time we've had with the boots, I have no idea how durable they are. However, I am happy that replacement pads are easy to obtain, and I agree that they are easy to put on and take off (if they fit).

Boots are great for abscesses
5/5

I highly recommend them. Thank you for making my day by finding My mare had a bad abscess across the front of her left toe, so I used this boot as a turn-out boot. The stall she builds up in a locked room churns up quickly if left unattended. An abscess was opened by our vet and medication was injected into it, a diaper wrapped around it, and afterwards, a boot was put on it. As a result, it worked like a charm to drain the abscess and relieve It took four days for her to recover enough for me to take off Considering her size 2 feet and that she's a QH, I got a size 10. This is the perfect fit for you. As well as the plastic insert cushion, I used it after I stopped wrapping my feet. There was such a difference in her comfort level. She smiled as if horses were able to do so. 1) I checked out the lighter Easyboot, but it only works for soaking, not walking and turning.

The stress is gone, and it's priceless
5/5

In spite of months of following all the protocols (trims, meds, supplements) for Laminitis, these boots brought IMMEDIATE relief to our pony. The process of getting used to them took her about 20 minutes. pulling the velcro tabs, so I wrapped the top of the boots with Vet Wrap so she wasn't able to remove the tabs. took her for a walk, and for the first time in months, she was able to walk, trot, and buck happily! We paid a lot for these, but for the relief and joy they brought to our girl, they were totally worth it!.
