What are the vents/breathing mechanisms of this device? Keeping boots that have barely been worn in this case may cause them to mold. ?

Not a single vent. A zipper on each side that can be partially opened to let in My usual method is to put dryer sheets (Bounce) in the bag to keep it fresh and spray with Lysol to keep it mold-free.

Has a fake been sent to me? I think the bag is OK in terms of quality, but it's a GIANT! Due to the excess fabric constantly knocking my boots over, my boots won't even stand up in this boot bag even though I wear a pretty normal size

Even if I were to bring it to the barn, I would not want to look at it.

My order was for two of them and they were delivered on time. They are exactly what I was looking for to protect my suede knee boots that I take on trips. Fashion boots that are knee high are tricky to store in boots that are tall enough to accommodate them. The inside divider is not there, but it still worked well for me when it came to protecting my In terms of aesthetics, they look okay, or at least the Blackwatch pattern I chose is pleasant to the eye.
