I'm sorry, but I'm not sure what size faucet you have.
Mine is equipped with a cap (as shown in your photo). black) is taken off and replaced with a hose. The hose is then pushed into position. (To improve my hose's connectivity, I heated it.) The sealing cap was then screwed on.
Twist to loosen, then press tube into place and tighten.
To make a vacuum, you'll need the adaptor.

The adapter collar is simply threaded onto the aquarium hose with this adapter. Then, until the aquarium hose is snug and as far on the tapered end as possible, forcefully press it onto the tapered point of the adapter. Then, using the threaded collar you put on the hose earlier, push it down over the taper and tighten it. The hose is held in place by the collar, which applies pressure to it. After that, tightly screw the 3/4" female hose connector onto the Python 3/4" male connector. If you want to use a garden hose with your Python, simply unscrew the hose adapter and tubing and replace it with a garden hose. Leave the connector on the aquarium tubing because it will fit any 3/4" male garden hose faucet or spigot. If you'll be installing and uninstalling this plastic adapter on a regular basis, you might want to get two of these. Plastic fittings are more likely to wear out or break than metal ones. When putting these on, only apply firm hand pressure. TO TIGHTEN, DO NOT USE TOOLS. Overtightening them will cause them to break. If you already own a Python, getting one of these and keeping it with your aquarium supplies ensures that if one of them breaks, you'll have a spare to replace it. br>br>It's a nice little adapter, but it's made of plastic and is easily broken. But I'm not going to take away any stars because it's plastic, because it's pretty clear from the ad that's what you're getting.
I have no idea who coined the term "features. " br>br>Aside from that, the product is excellent; I cut the old one that had cracked off rather than trying to unscrew it, which was much faster. The new one was put on in less than 30 seconds. It was a perfect fit and didn't leak at all. It's miraculous.
Okay, my Python is now 30 years old, and I was about to replace it completely because one of the fittings on it had a crack that was leaking. I decided to just buy this fitting instead of replacing the broken one, and it worked perfectly and saved me some money. It satisfies my needs.
They always appear to produce high-quality goods. Check out my YT electric blue aquarium reviews; they're simple to set up and work well.
The delivery was on time. It was exactly as described. My Python Maintenance System has been around for about 12 years, and the part fit perfectly. FYI: The gravel tube is connected to the rest of the hose by this piece.
Instead of using Python's expensive hose, I now just buy the fittings and use a different type of vinyl hose.
It still works the same way it did when I first got it! I had two fairly large tanks - one on the left and one on the right. There are two sizes of tanks available: 75 gallon and 48 gallon. I'm down to 48 half-hours left on the clock. Octagon in the back I strongly advise you to read both of these books - It was very simple to repair both the original Pump and this replacement part. I just had a hot- I cut off the old fitting, slid on the new one, and reassembled it. A new seal was created by tightening the fitting. It's brand new!.
Avoid using third-party products that are prone to cracking.
