Questions & Answers

The tubes become clogged with water after a water change, how do you get it all out? In it, I have a tiny bit of mildew. ?

As soon as the pump is started, I lift the vacuum end out of the aquarium and hold it up above the faucet. The water runs through the pump, sucking water from When the tank is refilled, I do the same thing to clear the tube. Even though there may still be moisture in the tube, it hasn't been a problem so far.

The dumb question I'm going to ask is What methods do you use to de-compact your bottles when refilling Making the tap water chlorine-free so the fish will not be exposed. Do I just put it in before I start?

I have no dumb question to ask. When you refill your aquarium with water, don't forget to treat the whole system with dechlorinators If you have a 60 gallon aquarium, for example, dose it according to the volume of your aquarium.

Would you be able to adjust this unit to be a tad longer than 25'?

As well as the 50 and 100 foot versions, they sell these In addition to tube, you can also buy as much tubing as you want to adjust it in any way you like

We have a 9 gallon BiOrb Flow system and I need to vacuum up the food, debris, and other liquids from the Does Python seem to be the right tool for the job?

That would be a disaster for a tank of such a small size. There's far too much risk in sucking out your entire water supply or crushing your fish when you refill it. Specifically, I used a bucket and small siphon attached to a faucet that does not hook to a sink to achieve 9 gallons.

THIS IS AN APPROPRIATE MEANING! I have revised the text. Below I have found the solution to the problem described in the PRIOR REVIEW. This problem could not be solved by the local Home Depot, so I found the solution at a local plumbing supply store in St. Petersburg instead. Even though Home Depot employees are friendly, they don't turn out to be Fortunately, the plumbing store was able to provide the exact attachment I needed at a reduced price of I have included five photos with this review. The first four show the stationary tub hose I was trying to connect Two brass attachments can be seen in the fifth photo As you can see on the left, you get an attachment with the Python and on the right, the plumber at the supply house came up with my solution in less than As seen in the photos six and seven, the brass attachment is attached to the stationary tub hose, followed by the Python green attachment. My rating has been changed from 1 to 5 now that everything is working perfectly. Here's what you need to know. The green Python attachment needs another brass adaptor to connect to the hose from which you removed the center spray handle if you are attaching it to the hose from which you removed the spray handle. I did it on my own The connector is half an inch long and made of brass. At Home Depot, I'm sure they have them. My problem was that there was no Internet search engine I could use to find what I was looking for so I had to talk to a plumber at a supply house. Unless you plan to use a sprayer hose, you should not install the Python in a sprayer If you choose this type of connection, either for your kitchen sink or stationary tub, just make sure your faucet has an aerator you can unscrew from it. The Python-only place on the planet is the Python-only place on the planet It will be connected to the adapter supplied. Additionally, I received a flyer from Python in the mail. The eighth picture shows an example of this. Apparently they are receiving a great deal of feedback that their connectors do not fit a lot of faucet models, because they now sell optional attachments on their website.

PRIOR The way they are connecting the device to their faucets in other houses is beyond me, but my house is semi-plumb Moen faucets include sprayers in this modern kitchen In the laundry room and kitchen, you can find French-style faucets. I've tried connecting this device to every faucet in our house, but it didn't work. In addition to Home Depot, we went to a local plumbing supply store to find an adapter for the stationary bathtub. Despite our lack of culture, they treated us like we came You can find attached photos of the stationary tub that we have tried to attach the Python brass adapter to but were not able to do so. As a result, the brass Python attachment cannot be screwed into the attachment on the stationary tub hose due to its diameter. Thank you for taking the time to look at the pictures. I am looking for any advice. Would be very interested in seeing photos of how you have attached this device to a faucet in your house if you have any. To send photos or suggestions, send an email to Lauren9409 at hotmail. com. I would appreciate it greatly if you could provide them. The bottom line is, this thing is useless, and I will be returning it to Amazon unless I see some sort of adapter or another way to attach it to another faucet in the house. It is important to remember this lesson. It is important to first verify that the Python attachment can be installed on one of your faucets situated near your tank before you purchase it.

Time and labor can be saved by using this product
5/5

This is one of the most popular aquarium maintenance products available! Whether you need to replace 5% of the water or a completely drain and refill, you can make use of this device. Here are a few things to keep in mind If you are using chlorinated tap water, add dechlorinator to it before filling the tank, keep the temperature as close as possible to the ambient temperature to avoid stressing your fish, drain the tube completely before putting it away, and keep an eye on it throughout its usage. You'll find it convenient you'll want to take advantage of it multiple times Your attention is diverted to your filling task, and then you forget about it until you hear it overflowing. I am sure we have all done it (well, most of us have). The bottom line is that the buckets are unnecessary, so this thing saves tons of time and labor. If you are accustomed to doing things the hard way, it's not cheap, but you will be changed forever by it. Thank you for reading this, and click "yes" if you found it helpful.

You will appreciate using this product because it is easy to use

My fish tank was a 10 gallon tank, and I used the siphon and bucket to change the water. In my first attempt, I tried to fill this tank with a bucket and having to clean up the floor is a hassle. I upgraded to a 36 gallon tank and now it is easy to fill. I went in search of a better solution because there was water everywhere. A solution with no spills has been found with Phython. In terms of water, I was happy that I could now do such a change without any issues.

One thing to remember is that I am not handy at all. The tension thread could not be found in the facet when I tried to attach the No Spill system. My search for a way to attach it ended in complete failure. Phython was on the phone with me. There was no one there. Having explained the situation, I went back to siphoning and bucketing for the water change, so I would not have to risk the fish dying. Due to my lack of handyman skills, I was waiting for Phython to call me back to give me guidance. After a few days, I heard back from them and asked them to take away learned from him that there will be a unique key with faucets that can be used to remove the lock. After learning where one end was at risk of getting rusted, I corrected it. While waiting for the snap connector to arrive, I thought that it would come in useful to fix the faucet to it. In the end, however, it didn't hold me back from securing the faucet system. Now that I was talking, I still couldn't fix my attachment to the faucet. Consequently, I took the brass adapter along with my aerator ring to HD. The customer service staff at the store helped me and told me that the brass adapter that I have from Phyton would work with my faucet and that I did not need any other parts. In case an adapter was needed, I had one extra. In the evening, I was able to fix the adapter to the faucet and get water out of the tank at home. Water was spouting out of the sides of the faucet, but there was a lot of water spray around the faucet. There was no success in filling the tank. My bathroom floor filled with water, and I told myself, "This is not working. ". My bucket was full so I went back to fill it. Those who are wondering why I gave it 5 stars may be wondering why I gave it 5 stars. Let me tell you more if you are still interested. A week after the first attempt, I wanted to give this another try. As a result, I removed the washers from the brass adapter and the pressure from the faucet was reduced. Neither did it siphon the water from the tank nor did there be any leaks. As soon as I increased the pressure, the device began to work. There hasn't been any leak yet. After the tank was emptied, it was time to fill it again. It's closed on the drain side and I'm crossing my fingers. The tank was being filled, and no leak was apparent. Each person gave the other a high five. I was able to use it. There will be no more spills, buckets, or cleaning up. SO I suppose it was two things that caused the problem in the end. The aerator was the first component to be installed, followed by the washers. My lack of understanding how it works was not the issue, but my lack of knowledge about the product. br>I appreciate you taking the time to read my long review/br>.

I love it! Returning to the tank after the return run
5/5

How can only 5 stars be enough? Can you tell me where the 10th is? It has just changed my life. I have just used the product once. That's all I know for now. It takes me one hour to change 50% of the water in my planted tank each Creating an output sink for the output and running it. I love it! Returning to the tank after the return run. I love it! Once the new water was added, I added Prime and adjusted the pH. The fish appeared to be doing well. There are no problems at all. The best part is that there are no buckets involved! Not at all. There are buckets.

Of course, if you are doing a deep gravel vacuum, you do not want to scoop up anything you do not want going down the drain (I have a disposal) like a rock that might get in there.
