I'm no expert, but the lines I use for my high-tech CO2 in my shrimp/water garden are much more rigid to account for the higher pressure in my CO2 lines, which I've connected to an in-line pressure regulator. Diffuser in a line TLDR: I'd use more rigid tubing for CO2 if it's going to an in line diffuser, but your mileage may vary.

So I try to set up my three tanks using this air tubing and check valves, only to discover that three of the four check valves are defective. I've never bought a bad check valve in my 25 years of buying them. I've had them crack and break over time and after several years of use, but I've never purchased one that was defective right out of the box. There are three check valves that aren't working properly. They wouldn't let even a breath of air pass through them. It's as if someone smeared glue or something in the middle of the hole where the air should be able to pass through. I even tried blowing compressed air through them at 50 psi and got one to hiss a little. You must first turn people in the right direction before they can think clearly. Yes, there is only one way for air to pass through, and they are even labeled, but they are all sealed shut. I bought it because of the great reviews, but I had no idea I'd end up with a bunch of faulty parts in my system. The air tubing was excellent, as were the flow control valves, which are extremely convenient. Even the air stones came in handy when it came time to modify some sponge filters. I was just hoping to save a few dollars, but after this failure, I had to rush to the local pet store to get some check valves.
I was able to create a chorale for my plants with ease because it is very flexible and light. I haven't replaced my air lines yet, but I have tested all of the regulators and stones, and they all function properly.
I was pleasantly surprised by the high quality of the product. The only issue I had was having to insert a piece of wire into the check valve to open it for the first time, which was a simple fix and everything else is of good quality, so no complaints.
This was what I used to make my own drip acclimation system for aquarium fish and shrimp. With the splitters and valves, I'm able to acclimate multiple containers at the same time. For almost no money, this is an awesome kit.
This kit was chosen because it included tubing, check valves, and control valves in one convenient package. The product was of excellent quality, and the shipping was prompt.
The whole point of ordering was to convert clear tubes to black so that they could be suction cupped. I'm going to have to go out and get some decent suction cups because these only stick to the glass for about 20 seconds before floating away. I tried adjusting this and that a few times. They're just suction cups, but c'mon, that's why I bought this kit in the first place.
For the price, this appears to be an excellent kit. Lots of tubing, connectors, and air stones. . . all for a fraction of the price of what you'd pay in a pet store.
This is without a doubt the best air hose I've ever used. There were a lot of cool parts and air stones that worked well in my tank for what I was doing.
