I ordered these airstones because I've had good luck with the Aquaneat brand, and they arrived in perfect condition, with no broken or chipped stones. So far, I've only tried one, but I'm confident that the others will follow suit. The air bubbles that came out of the tank when I attached the air stone and placed it in the tank were not very good. I couldn't adjust the air flow to compensate because there were fewer and larger than I wanted. I decided to leave the stone in the tank because I needed air, and having small bubbles in this tank was not a priority. As it turned out, the air stone settled down over a few days and now produces a large number of small air bubbles with no further adjustment on my part, indicating that these work well; it just takes a little time to get them going. I did order another brand of air stones and paid more for a higher quality for my larger tanks where I needed a more reliable product, but these do the job and work fine for most of my smaller tanks for the price.
Simple to work with. Before turning on the air, soak them for a while. There are a ton of lovely air bubbles here! We will definitely do business with each other again!.
It was much smaller than I had anticipated. When I blow through one after soaking it, there is no airflow, but the others work perfectly. Small bubbles are very nice.
This is fantastic. I, like many others, stumbled into the hobby of aquarium keeping by accident. I went from having no aquatic animals to having four fish aquariums and a massive 60 gallon aquarium with four Leopard frogs in it. I bought these after buying a long air stone and having it clog up after a month. They perform admirably, do not clog, and are simple to maintain (just run under hot water). The best part is that they're inexpensive enough to toss out and replace if you're simply too busy. It is unquestionably valuable.
I'm going to use one of these in my 10-minute video. Tanks with a capacity of 100 gallons and a gentle filtration system.
They should last me a long time. When they begin to clog, I will soak them in hydrogen peroxide to clean them out. They aerate the tea by creating a large amount of bubbles.
So the only thing that matters is the price, and I'm giving this 5 stars because these air stones are the cheapest per unit.
