This product should not be used for saltwater To use a salt water product, you need to look for one.
Once the treatment cycle has been completed, you can insert the carbon filter again. If you are adding Tetra Ick Guard to your aquarium over and over again, you should conduct a 25% water change before each addition.
Let the filters sit for 24 hours, then replace them. It is also possible to change the water slightly if you so desire.
My tank does not hold salt water, so not sure. Oscars are well suited to this application.

A blue tint was applied to the whole tank. Making it hard to see my fish made it difficult to keep an eye on them and made the added color difficult to determine the benefit. There is also a need to clean the tank every day with this kind. It is possible to find things that work that do not require you to turn the tank blue or clean it. This is what I used to treat my fish for ick for several days. The fish were mostly better but I wanted to treat for a few more days and ran out of other stuff. I found out a few days later that all my tetra had died even though their spots had been gone for days and they were eating (the other fish had also been treated). It did not help the situation but it's not clear which medication caused the problem.
Although, at first I thought it wouldn't work, it did work and I am glad I did. The problem was fixed only by two applications. You should give it a try.
These tablets were exactly as they stated, and I did not experience any ill effects from them at all. You should remove your filters due to the fact that it turns everything blue. Despite the small flaws, I am so happy with it.
I killed more than half of the tank, but on the upside, I wonder if the Ich is dead now.
