Thanks for getting in touch. We have tried contacting the manufacturer but so far have been left with a voicemail. Ensure that this is the case. Despite that, we found that it can work in ponds based on our research. Taking a closer look at the multiple reviews, it seems that the product works for some, but not for others.

You may be able to see its top fin in the first picture however, the bottom fin has mostly been lost Its tail is about half of its length. There was no doubt in my mind that he would be gone! It is called API Melafix and it can be downloaded from their website On Amazon, Pimafix has an API. In accordance with the directions, I used both of them for 7 days. I took the picture after 4 weeks. You can see how much of my angelfish's top fin has grown back and regrown His tail is growing back to most of its original length! The doctor has gotten him better and he is more active Now I feel more lively! These products are fantastic! I highly recommend them!.
My Discus tank has Pleco's in it, which I put there about a month ago, per some bad advice. As soon as I left the tank, my smaller discus had had its tail and fin ripped off. My first assumption was that it was pecking order fights among the fish, but I didn't notice any biting behavior. Later I did some research and found that it was a pleco. I found that they were eating the tail and fins of my fish at night! Of course, I removed the catfish as soon as possible. My damaged fins have almost all been healed within a few days of beginning to add Melafix to my aquarium. I will always keep some of this product on hand. I am very pleased with the results of this product.
Developed a way to prevent fungus rot and saved the rest of my fish! This is a great recommendation, I wish I had known about it sooner. Maybe my other beautiful fishes would still be alive.
I was not able to help my fish with this. Even though most of my fish did not survive, you can still see the fungi on the ones that are live. In my aquarium, it caused a red (black color) algae bloom, just as someone else mentioned in the reviews. Although my water smelled quite nice, it was still a little sour.
You will kill your fish with this product. Once fish have been fed, they will become less active and more lethargic if they remain unattended for a long period. You will have to put them down if you did not take them out when you saw that sign. I find that most of my neon tetras simply fall over and die without any indication they are in distress. Depending on how healthy your fish are, you may see them live for a while after you dose them. This is not a recommended API product.
For insurance purposes, you need this stuff if you have an aquarium. In a bottle you can take care of your fish. In addition, the same company offers Pimafix. In case you need them together, you can do so. This is something that you should always have on hand. It won't make much sense to look for something to be delivered to your home or to have to wait to go to the pet store if you notice your fish are sick.
The service I received was not very happy with shipping, but as it is needed for my now, I'll use what I got!.
It's a great product that I buy from the store all the time. There were several reasons why I wouldn't give it 5 stars it came in a bag packed in a bag with the top screwed in incorrectly, the bottle was nearly empty, the package was wet, and the scent of melaluca was strong.
