I'm not really sure how well it works. As always, I keep this close by when I'm using Melafix. In the past, I have never seen any problems with it harming my fish, plants, or the hundreds of snails I inherited on some new plants that I recently My experience has been that so far it hasn't done anything noteworthy for me. The only time I have actually experienced this with Melafix was the first time it healed Whenever I treat my fish, I prefer to do this first, since I dislike using actual chemicals on them, so I normally end up treating them separately in a tub.
As an advantage, it doesn't cause sever disease nor do I see my fish being unhappy, but it also has disadvantages such as being difficult to use. It might be user error, but I've had my Koi/Goldfish for over 23 years and have been successful with other meds as well. My guess is that the combination of pimaflex and melafix is doing a better job than either one of them *I am also annoyed by the fact that I receive this every single time the inside seal is always broken. This results in it leaking out some by the time it got to me. There is no single solution to this problem Basically, time is of the essence. Some of the products are in sealed plastic bags and leak. The way the product is delivered has no bearing on this policy. Under the lid there is the seal for the actual product.
I lost my 8 year old goldfish to this. When I introduced this product into the water my goldfish died because of a gill issue that was unknown to him, and it caused oxygen absorption to be low enough for him to die. Until the fish died during an inspection, I was unaware of any problems with the fish. I am still treating the 100 gallon tank with the treatment even though there are other fish in the tank that do not seem to be experiencing difficulties. Whenever you treat your fish, you should keep a close eye on them and remove them from the treated water immediately if you notice they seem stressed. There is no information on this issue on the bottle that would qualify this rating as a higher one.
Taking the box out of A plastic bag contained the bottle of Pimafix, which came packaged with another product (both Pimafix and Melafix were ordered together). The thought struck me as odd. As soon as I opened the bag, I realized what was inside. The bottle showed signs of leakage to at least an eighth of its contents. The bag was borne out of this need. If it had been packaged differently, it would have been known, and compensation would have been attempted. I still have a leak. It was disappointing.
More importantly, I am unsure whether or not this would work. It is now day five since I have been using the product for five days with a sick pond fish (not a koi). Yes, I know I am supposed to leave it on for seven days, but it is obvious that the fish are not There is no doubt that it is even sicker than usual. leaves me wondering why I ordered the Putting the palm to the face. Also added extra salt to the pond's general environment in addition to a quick salt bath for the little one. I hope that will work out. Despite the two stars, I'm not sure I can recommend it (two stars isn't much of a recommendation). My next purchase will be another product. I'll do a comparison next time. My sincerest wishes are with you - and your fish - that you have better luck than I have.
Fish can heal quickly with this product. Additionally, it can be used for The purpose of this is not to solve a critical problem. The pond version is better for me as it is a concentrated version and therefore takes less. After using it for 3 years now, I have only lost 3 fish, and those were the ones that were already dead. This is a must for any fishkeeper. Not only did it save the one fish it saved many others as well.
I didn't notice my pond fish had developed some sort of fungus over the winter, so I was waiting until it warmed up before I noticed it. He was in such serious danger that I was sure he would not live. Initially, I thought the problem was a parasite, but when a salt bath and Melafix did not help, I realized that the problem was probably a fungus and tried It took about three or four days for the fungus to disappear, and the bottle was empty by the time we finished it. You may not have had the same positive experience as me, but I would definitely recommend trying if you are unsure what else to do.
With just one dose, it took over a week to clear up the infection on my prized 24" Koi. The condition looked like a thick layer of wool on his back, but he is back to his healthy self now.
I have been using this in combination with Maleflix, and the fish without exception have stopped getting sicker and been healed!.
The Endlers have been saved. Make sure you are taking the right Melafix was less needed than Melafix, and obviously I didn't have to use it. Thanks to changing the water, I fixed the problem.
