Questions & Answers

What is the amount of food you provide for them?

We suggest feeding your betta as much food as he or she will eat in one day. Once a day, for 3 minutes.

What is the process of making this?

According to the most important information on the label. The shrimp in the Bottom Feeder pellets is supplemented with seaweed and squid (to promote growth and health). According to the package, the fish quickly consume the nutrients and emit less ammonia, resulting in cleaner, clearer water. The package also lists a long list of other ingredients (too long to type out). www.thelabel.com is the address for the label's website. apifishcare is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the care of apifish com, as well as 1- 800- 847- If you have any questions, please call 0659. What is the size of these pellets? I received a sample of api betta food, which is extremely small. Is it the same as before?

This is also a very small feed, half the size of the nls betta feed and nearly identical to the aqueon betta feed (the api is slightly smaller).

What amount of ammonia is less than what amount of ammonia is less than what What is the comparator in this case, and how were the tests carried out? What was the ammonia concentration found to be?

I wish I had known because I'm a customer who used the product for a short time and my betta died as a result!

The worst betta pellets I've ever seen floating around
3/5

I needed to replenish my supply of floating betta pellets, so I went out and bought some. br>Would hate to have to go out in the middle of the night because the only store open is ten minutes away. Anyway, I bought these API floating betta pellets, and someone must have had a bad day at the packing plant, because when I fed them to my little Red the day after election day, the pellets sank faster than my hopes. br>Perhaps I made a mistake. nope. The catfish now have more food to eat. And, as someone else mentioned, I, too, have a permanent oil slick on top of the water that is unaffected by a partial change. br>br>In the end, maybe yours will float, and the tank won't look like the Exxon Valdez paid a visit.

The betas aren't scoffing at the idea
5/5

Despite the fact that I have not had a one-on-one conversation with them about their food preferences. Every time I put food in their tank, they consume it. Because betas are survivor fish, it is suggested that you feed them an amount of food the size of their eye ball every other day or so. Personally, I believe that My fish appear to eat a lot when they are bored. Swimming in the same tank all day is bound to become monotonous. When the elephant ear beta sees the blue top-hat, she swims straight to the feeder. So she's smart and realizes it's feeding time, and she's happy, or she despises it and is attempting to eat it? In any case, all four of them have been surviving on this food. So far, no one has turned their back on it.

Not at all what I had anticipated
3/5

This food was not consumed as quickly as usual by the fish, but it was consumed nonetheless. I followed the feeding instructions for how much to feed and how often to feed. The food did not cloud the water, but it did leave a very stinky, greasey-looking film on top of it. After two days of feeding, the fish began to act less active and some bubbles began to form. I cleaned out their tank and fed them new food instead of the old food I had been feeding them. They're back to being the active individuals they once were.

My fish tank is cleaner and clearer as a result of using this food
5/5

Because the color of this fish food isn't bright and appealing, I believe it contains little or no color. This helps to keep the water in my fish tank clearer. Normally, the water in my fish tank and the moss turn red after a week, but with this food, the water remains clear and the moss does not turn red.

Pellets that float are not allowed
3/5

I have no doubt that these pellets provide numerous advantages to bettas and are extremely nutritious. But, I'll ask, what good is all that nutrition if they're just going to sink? Even on the container, these pellets are labeled as floating pellets. They don't float, believe it or not. I even use a feeding ring to keep the food I give my betta from being flushed away by the filtration system's current. It's not a big deal. When I put the food in there, it immediately sinks to the bottom of the tank. This is far too quick for any betta to get the food. If the fish food does not float, it should not be marketed as such.

Betta is in better shape now
5/5

My betta used to eat flakes, and it took him two days to adjust to these because he was confused, but he now enjoys them and appears to be in better health. Because the dyes in the flakes were causing his poop to turn odd colors, I switched. This is also much less messy than flakes, which crumble and sink if not eaten right away. Although they float, some of them sink.

It appears to be a big hit with the fish
5/5

Because my Beta wasn't eating his old food, I switched to this. No, he eats it all up, indicating that he enjoys it. In a small jar, there is a good amount of food.

API Betta pellets are a type of API that is used to make API Betta Because of the packaging, I'm giving it four stars
4/5

It arrived in a manila envelope, and the plastic jar was shattered by the time I got it. Although it could have been packaged better to prevent this, it was inexpensive. My Betta enjoys them, aside from dumping out all the food and small bits of plastic from the envelope.
