Questions & Answers

Fragments are what I intend to hold in here. I have snails that knock over my frags all the time. Do 5 frags fit securely in this if I use a ?

Specifically designed for 1/2" glass, these magnets are extremely strong. In general, thinner the glass, more load you will be able to fit in The Frag Racks from Reefing Art are designed to meet a variety of See what they have to offer.

Does this tank have an internal breeding system?

In short, yes. There is a hanger and a suction cup version available. In most cases, you just have to hang the box inside the aquarium, and your aquarium is ready for fish to grow in it.

The lid can be completely detached from the base. Can you do this?

If the lid needs to be removed or replaced, you can remove it and reinstall it with a

Does the egg hatch through the holes? Likewise, will the fry swim through the holes if I use this to raise eggs? Additionally, if my tank is made of acrylic, can I use just the suction cups on it?

It would be easy for small fish to pass through the holes. The fish would be in a separate 10 gal tank until they are larger, and then they would be transferred. In my case, I only use my acclimatization tank for larger fish (over an inch) before they are released into the One of the holes it has is about 1/8" by 1" so water and food can pass through it.

This app works well, however the design could stand to be improved
4/5

My favorite part of the box is the color. My family and I have been able to use it as acclimation chambers for fish, anemones, and mushrooms because it is easy to assemble and looks great. A magnet, however, is the only down side of this. There is no need for more magnets, but it will hold it. It does not make sense to put this at the bottom of the tank, as it tends to "turn". Flow, or weight, on one side of the object will cause it to pan that way and "tilt," so having two magnets opposite each other on the same side would be In addition to the magnet attached to the outside wall, the back wall also includes a magnet. Then, in a bit of an unstable manner, it would be situated about a quarter to half inch off the wall. The bottom needs to have something like pegs to help hold it away from the wall. In this case, the magnet holds, but not in a real way. Currently, I have the chamber in my 10 inch deep frag tank, and I have been just letting it sit in the bottom. There has been nothing I haven't been able to find in the lid. The door is hinged, but it is not latchable. A latch would also be useful, especially if you had to put it at the bottom of the container, as it would make escaping more difficult. It is still a decent choice as it is functional, but if you have a deep tank, you might consider looking for one that hangs off the rim. There is still a bit of work to be done. It is a great idea, with a decent design, but many improvements can be made. In my opinion, it deserves 4 stars.

Great stuff, I love magnetic coral safe items and this is one of them
4/5

Reefing arts has the best magnetic stuff out there, and I love their magnetic acclimation cube because it is the perfect size to let my healing BTA anemone see it while it is still recovering from a bacterial infection and also have enough room for her to move around. This time the outside magnets were assembled backwards on the casing with the felt side being the non magnetic and the curved side without felt being the magnetizing side, but just glueing another sheet of felt to the correct side of the casing was all it took.

Those boxes are so cool

Screws are cheap, extras are not included, and the instructions are unclear
3/5

I had given it a hard time in my first review, but it continues to be disappointing despite learning how to get it put together and stay together after I finally got it working. I screwed one of the plastic screws in, but the head fell off after a few turns. Aside from that, no extras are included. I had to peel off the contact paper from both sides of the plastic parts because it was still stuck to the parts. I am preparing for It would be better if the box was manufactured and glued. So far, I have not tried it in a tank.

We are not interested in purchasing
3/5

The purchase of this item is not recommended. I thought I was purchasing high quality product, but it turns out plastic screws broke during assembly, instructions are vague, and it is very flimsy. It is difficult to assemble, and it is NOT as sturdy as it seems or should be for the price. It is crooked and the box is tilted. In addition, the lid does not work unless you have a rimless aquarium or plan to put it deep into the tank. (You cannot close it with the We would never purchase this product again. VERY disappointed with the quality as well as the cost. Don't waste your time!.

This is a pretty useful website
5/5

There are small boxes that work well for introducing new inhabitants to a fish tank. They are not intended to act as a quarantine but rather as a way to ensure the new fishes are not negatively affected by established fishes, to make sure they eat and are healthy. It is easy to assemble and.

The mushroom frying pot is ideal for this
4/5

Those are the ones I use when I'm making Rubble should be added, then mushrooms should be added and waited for to attach so they do not fly around. The only thing I would change would be if the lid would latch. It is easy to open the lid with Current. I have found that to be the case at least. On top of the rock I placed a small rock, and it works.
