Product Description

It can prevent even the young fish from being attacked by the larger fish, and it can increase the survival rate of the young
Multiple Room Divider - This design allows for space to be divided into as many as three separate rooms. The hatchery box could be converted into a large egg incubator if all the partitions are removed.
This super-slim 5mm gap protects the baby fish from adult fish invasion in a thinner and more effective manner than the gap in the fish eggs plate.
This funnel is built with 4 stands so it will stay steady - If it is not placed upright, the water pressure will ensure it stays stable.
The upgraded design has a feeding hole on the top, so it's not necessary to open the cover when feeding. We offer new suctions made from eco-friendly materials, with superior

Questions & Answers

What happens if it floats?

It does float around in the tank, but it is not free floating. A hook extends from its top to the tank rim, and a suction cup at its bottom attaches directly to the tank's

If the lid of the breeding tank has to be opened for feeding, how can you avoid having the fish escape or the wrong fish get into the tank?

Although fish cannot escape, my aquariums never had any issues with the wrong kinds of fish getting in or the fish getting out. The ability for this to happen should be impossible if done properly. This aquarium should only feature similarly smaller fish like guppies, rather than the guppies I have held

Is it possible to adhere a W tray or funnel without using a It floats up to the top, so I cannot use it for 1 fish unless I place a ?

My attempt to resolve the issue did not resolve the issue and I As a result, the tray floated and gave no room to the

I love it! This is a comparison of Petzilla's Breeder Boxes with Lee's
5/5

Petzilla Aquarium Fish Breeder Box (for use with small platy Slats on the side prevent the little ones from swimming into the big tank because they are just the right size. As you can see, in the picture, the Fish Breeder box for Petzilla Aquarium is on the right side of the picture. A Lee's Two-headed fish can be seen on the left guppy breeder box ( Both have been removed due to the fact that we only placed babies inside when we located them in the main aquarium. An overview of all three is presented below Please note Size As the babies grow, Petzilla's size allows fewer babies to crowd into a smaller space. You can purchase breeder nets that are larger than both boxes if you have a small tank. If you have a larger tank, the Lee's box might be a better choice. LATCHES & OPENINGS As the openings of Petzilla's side tanks are smaller than those of the main tank, we have not had any babies swim out. br>There are a few larger slats/openings on the Lee's side which allow for more water movement, and also make the smallest babies more vulnerable to slipping Breeder nets do not have slats, so no one can get out, but if you have babies who are trying to burrow into it, such as pleco babies, they can wedge themselves into the net behind the frame and become trapped. I FLOATED AND I WAS Placing the order of these are designed for free float. In the past, I have not realized how important this was until tank cleaning time! The floating feature helps the net float toward the bottom as the water level drops, keeping the fry above the surface (unlike a fixed net box that stays on well above the surface). You can also attach Petzilla using suction cups if you want it to stay in place in an area where water is flowing freely. After the babies get a bit older and I want them to become more familiar with how the water in the tank moves, I have done this. Using a breeder net is easy, but keep in mind that they do not float and are attached so you may need to be careful when cleaning the tank or the water may drop below the net (when using a net box, I remove the babies from it before This is a good thing about the breeder net in that it allows water to move all around it like it would in a A FEW OBSERVATIONS Observing and writing notes about the fish's health and behavior is a favorite activity of my kids. A record of what traits the babies of each platy have is also being collected The difference between a long vs short fin and a regular vs Mickey mouse tail. I like the Petzilla and Lee's because they allow me to observe For casual observers, the net is harder to see through, but not impossible. A CLEAN ROOM You might be able to use a Turkey baster every single day for all 3 of them to squirt out poop and leftover food. There are cons for each of these A petzilla is a machine that eats pets There is less flow of water when the sides are smaller * Lee's The larger the side, the greater the likelihood of the baby escaping. * * Breeder nets Pele babies do not like being trapped (in these areas). The Petzilla is the best choice for us when we have a large litter of platty babies or when we have many pleco.

There seems to be no reason for some people to complain about the separation
5/5

It's hard to say why some people are complaining about separating trays floating. Just invert the breeder box holding the tray upside down and allow the trapped air bubbles to escape to ensure that the tray remains upright after it has been dipped in water. While I took a while to figure it out, it worked for me in the end.

Isolator for fish that works pretty well
3/5

Isolator for fish that works pretty well. This product was purchased to treat an ick infection in my fish tank because my fish were sick. In order to prevent them from spreading the disease, I'm quarantining them. I slowly heal them as I go along. The pros are Please note
Option 1 is Floating option Option 2 is Submerging option - You can let it free float or stick it to the wall of your tank in Submerge or Float mode by using the suction cup. Feeding fish can be done through open vents on the top - rooms for four people, but the following are cons Please note
*A little thin Arcrylic (not as thin as I'd like)- Features two panel splitters for the top ( the picture at the top of the panel shows four fish which is quite confusing and can lead to believing that the four As soon as they put 1 marine fish with 3 freshwater fish, I should have known something was wrong. very good fish isolator for its price. I think I will buy.

The product does the job, but is still cracked when it arrives
4/5

It can break if the material is not thick enough, as is the case with most plastics. It arrived cracked on the W funnel, but since I had already started giving birth to guppies, I decided not to replace Since we bought the product approximately 2 months ago, I feel that I have more experience with it, and can present a more accurate assessment now. Pros * The hatchery is strong in general and does the job it is supposed to. A super-hero should be a super-villain There are thin isolation gaps between the hatchery and the fry that keep them inside as intended. In addition to increasing the survival rate of the fry (baby guppies), the W funnel also forms solid barriers in the water column. (Please note The crack in the W funnel we received appears to have not widened since we received it). *The suction cups are strong

CONS The suction cups still lose their suction when enough water pressure builds up (e. This is the bubbler from the aquarium below). * The feeding holes only cover the outer two "rooms" when all partitions are in place. In order to feed the occupant of the middle room, you must remove the cover. The suction cups also push the hatchery away from the aquarium's side, and by doing so, the base of the hatchery is pushed against the side, which creates a gap through which the fry can get trapped. Sadly, my guppy mommas do not get along with each other in such small spaces, so I can only keep one dog in each Also, the bottom of the container does not have slots designed to prevent debris from building up- It may be possible to build slots to help reduce debris to some degree, but I'm not sure how they'd be constructed Hatcheries can be opened up to allow the fry to get fresh air and still maintain a safe environment. In conclusion, this is a fairly functional product with very few problems.
