Just trying to get a cap off them breaks them so easily, and I find this very frustrating. It's very important to be very careful because the cap starts gripping the glass tightly after a few uses. If you squeeze too hard, the glass breaks in your hand. I've learned to be extra careful and gently turn the glass. Since I'm very petite, I've broken tubes a couple of times and I assorted chemicals in these hands once (it's fun to break a tube of chemicals in your hands). A value that breaks so easily is not one to be considered. Your own risk is involved in using this tool.
A 29 gallon fish+invert display aquarium one 20 gallon indoor aquarium and one 29 gallon outdoor aquarium. Number 5 1. The shrimp will fill a 5 gallon bucket In addition to the breeding tank, there is a holding tank of 10 gals to house fry or injured My job requires that I check all tanks' parameters on a regular basis The frequency is three times You get four test tubes when you buy the Master Test Kit. The tank is capable of checking 4 tests at the same time. After you have rinsed and dried all the items, you need to move on to the next or third tank. The reason I bought two sets of these is because I prefer to draw water samples from all three tanks, label them, then sit down in front of the TV to test each sample. During most tests you have to wait at least a half hour before you get your results, so I need at least an hour to do them properly. With multiple test tubes for each tank I can test them all at once without getting up and down, then clean up.
To replace the broken API glass tubes that came with the liquid test kits, you'll need good quality original API tubes. There is a 5ml measuring line on both, just as on You might break them if you drop them on a hard surface, as they are glass. The best course of action is to exercise caution. Whenever you break one of these, be sure to thoroughly clean up the area as there are tiny pieces of glass in them. A glass test tube tends to be more durable than a plastic one, but less durable than titanium. Glass is not a good medium for testing water parameters since it does not bond with chemicals like plastic does. It's a good idea to get a test tube holder if you're like me and you knock them over all the time (because they don't stand on their own very well). The prices are pretty low at a few of the sellers here. There is a lot less breakage with this. I've ordered these more than once however because I still break one from time to time.
As with API master test kits, these tubes are identical to the ones that come in replacement tubes. I have included a picture of the ones that came with the master test kit and the other one from Amazon compared side by side. Honestly, I had forgotten which one was which by the time I took the picture. In my opinion, these tubes make a good buy if you have clumsiness issues like I do or want to collect more tubes. No flaws were found in any of them and each of them was packaged extremely well for transport.
I got these because I broke one of my four tubs from my kit however, the caps are trash! I got them because I broke one of my four tubs from my kit. My biggest concern with this test kit is that there is acid in it! I have no idea why they would put these caps on them. In some of the bottles we use to test, we have to shake them up to get the liquid out, but the caps are trash, so when you shake them up, the liquid comes out. I think this isn't safe at all, and they really need to rectify this as soon as possible!.
The first thing that struck me was how well they were packaged. Originally, I was a bit worried about ordering glass through the mail, but they came securely packaged in bubble wrap All wrapped up. used them in a demo, and thought they were one of the best buyings I've ever made, especially since I was considering purchasing another API kit just for Two years ago, I bought my original API kit and every few months I would drop and break one of the test tubes, usually while One more thing I thought was worth mentioning is that, while you cannot tell in the photos, they do have the 5ml lines on them just.
In the end, it is what it claims to be. That is very similar to what you get with the original I agree with the reviewer that packaging could be improved. This is amazing that they didn't break when they arrived. Only a small amount of bubble wrap was used. A light plastic wrap just surrounds the tubes. A bubble did not surround a product a few big pieces were all there was. During testing, the box rattled too easily, and you could hear glass tubes just clinking The product was fortunately not damaged and did not show signs of cracking. This function works as expected.
During the testing of my aquarium kit, one of the bottles broke. An ideal replacement is provided by this. It arrived in excellent condition and the packaging is fantastic.
