The bottom of the boat sank just fine and they looked beautiful at the bottom. After I added my fish, my aquarium sat for a week for a week to condition. I noticed a week after that there was a fuzzy film, like a furry film, all over my one-piece. I asked the community about it, and they said someone else had the same problem, and the fish died. This thank has been cleared of the wood and nothing like it will be placed there in the future. This is not something I would recommend So what's the point in taking the risk! You never know which foods are bad and which aren't!.

After a few weeks, it started growing a black slime mold. It could be that this is what caused the majority of my fish to die. As a result of the mold, I had to remove them from my tank. It's possible that one more pack will be ordered After reading seller reviews and other aquarium reviews, I added the new fish to my aquarium based on their recommendations. The following is my process (you may change it to suit your needs) By the time the 5 minutes of boiling were up, the water had turned a dark brown color. I added very little salt, and the water boiled for more minutes. It was a bit too hot for me, so I turned off the stove and kept them for 10 minutes longer. Once that was done, I replaced the water, rinsed them in hot water in the sink again and repeated the process once more, not adding salt. The water did not become as brown dark as it did at this time. Rinsing again in the sink with hot water and then with cold water, then placing them in the aquarium, I then placed them back into the water. Having received the shrimp woods the same day, I was able to deliver it the next day.

Small tanks look great with this decoration. It was easy to spot the knots and bends on each piece, but the length was about the same. To boil, place in a medium sized pot with fresh water for 30 minutes They should sink immediately after 45 minutes of soaking, rinsing, and cooling (I put them in a new 3gal tank before adding Betta the tank had been running for several days before the Betta Before adding it to an established bowl or tank, let it soak in conditioned water for as many hours as possible after boiling it).

Shrimps that are too narrow cannot live in this space. We would receive 3 pieces of one inch (diameter) wide if we followed the description. Based on the photos, which shows dwarf shrimp playing in cholla tubes, these hidey tunnels appear to be reasonably wide for shrimp to hide in. Upon arrival, a 1" piece was delivered, along with two 3/4 inch pieces and one half inch piece! ! Those shrimp are still juveniles, and the aquarium is way too narrow for them. Even though they are tiny enough to be used for fry or baby shrimp, I am not planning to use them. Still, they have a pretty cool look. The only thing I would have liked is if they were the size promised.

There is simply no end to the joy they get from In addition to a breeder box, I also have one for my RCS to live in, but they don't enjoy it as much as the Amanos do. By that point, they had sunk by the time they boiled for about 7 minutes. I received the package as ordered, boiled the pieces as instructed and they sank by that point. Taking them out of the pot and throwing them in some cold water with some Prime to kill off the chems in my water, I started the brewing process over. Within twenty minutes, all of them had sunk. Only one of my pieces was a little small, which is why I gave this 4 stars rather than 5. This is not a measure of length, but of Two of the pieces were fat, one was the perfect middle size, and the third piece was a baby. It doesn't have much to do with this. highly recommend this product to anyone with freshwater shrimp, especially those in the Amanos family.

For now, I rate it 5 stars! I just received them today and I could not put them in the tank because I am not at The shipment was sturdy, well packaged, and arrived in very good condition. As soon as I soak them for 24 hours and add them to the tank, I will update again. It is 100% worth the money to add to the tank!!! *UPDATED* 1/5/18

**UPDATE** So very well worth it. It is loved by my Betta snail and the mystery snail as well. It is even more natural now that I added small leaves seeds inside the logs to sprout and make it Several times I had to boil these logs for 45 minutes at a time three times. They then had to be soaked in room temperature I made that mistake and it sank to the bottom, but as you can see, it is now standing. I would say it's worth the money so in conclusion, I would say it's worth it.

We then left them in a large 32oz cup for a few hours in order to water them down. We rinsed them several times repeatedly in order to remove the browning from water to the extent possible. During this procedure, do not agitate the water too much, since you will break off even more tiny pieces of wood and you will again have dirty water. Despite the odds, one of them managed to survive. It is perfect for holding it down until it sinks when I gently place it between my plants.
