The quality of the Red Barn cow ears is good, but the size is wildly inconsistent
3/5

We've bought them for several years because they are high It is always our practice to order the 100 count box whenever they are We've noticed that the size of the ears is quite variable lately. Their size and depth used to be consistently large and deep, as the thicker base material typically occupied the entire vessel. approximately one quarter of the box consists of small ears and what I consider pieces of ears (no bases). These ears are about half the size of the larger ones. It seems that the bags of ten do not have this quality control issue yet, so we may go back to buying by the ten A bag of ten counts. However, it may be more expensive that way, but the consistency may be worth the cost. Their success is a threat to Red Barn, I think.

Ensure that the whole ear is present and that the ear sizes match
3/5

It didn't take long to receive my first order that I ordered from Redbarn. I saw 100 large ears that appeared clean, did not have any odor, and were large in size. I gave the cow ears to all three of my dogs, and they thoroughly enjoyed them. As well as my first order, my second order contained 100 ears. In addition, I had quite a lot of small cow ears, about 4 inches long, and as many as fifteen that were only part A section of the lower, thicker part of the ear had been removed, leaving only the triangle on top. As a result, the size was reduced quite a bit. In addition, I have a Basenji/dog that only likes the hard part of the ear that gets rolled up. The flat piece she will accept will not be accepted, and she will ask for another piece. *UPDATE* Following orders seemed to be more effective. This may have been an anomaly.

I love you!

These are by far the best cow ears on the market, I have been buying them The brands and sizes that I've tried have been diverse. The other brands of Great Danes made my Great Danes hate the super jumbo. There's something about these that reminds me of donuts. It's like a fun celebration for them when they get their daily ear! I keep their teeth very clean, and my two Danes are over 5 years old, so neither of them have had to have dental work done. A puppy was adopted with these, and she has gotten them her entire life. A dog was adopted at home four with brown teeth and smelly gums and within a week, 90% of the molars were The large canine teeth on the front of his mouth were descaled so we did not have to put him under anesthesia for permanent cleaning. (See his teeth now one and a half years later, after I descaled them myself). There is only one thing I would change about them - they could be a bit bigger The box used to have the massive chunk at the end, and now there isn't much of that left on most of them. They are still my favorite and I give them.

We need to offer our dogs this Iteration of a Must Have Treat

owners, we want to make sure It might be more accurate to describe them as servants- I just want to say that cows ears may be the lifesaver for two street dogs weighing 50 pounds. It's not much that can slow our dogs down, but a good big cow's ear can at least offer them a pause for a few minutes as they wolf them down. It is - It's true these are all day treats for smaller dogs, but I mentioned before that they are a good start to the day. Dogs used to live on the streets. Since living overseas, we have tried a number of different brands, but not so much because we liked or disliked any particular brand, but because we often looked for the product on sale since they can be expensive if they consume two or three every day as our dogs In that vein, we are quite satisfied with the Red Ear Brand since their prices are similar to those of other major brands, they sell through Amazon so we didn't have any problem shipping to an APO address, they arrived promptly, and the quality is much the same as that of There are a few HDP Jumbos we particularly like, but not to the extent that we call them a bad deal. Only one minor complaint we can make is that they don't seem quite as clean as the other hampers On the inside of their ears, these still had some black, crusty matter- It does not appear to bother the dogs in the slightest, but you do notice. Positive aspects include the fact that they do not emit any odors There is no scent associated with these ears, nor do we find any after they have been eaten. Occasionally, we've noticed a faint smell coming from packaging of ears, but not here. As a whole, we like this product and if your dog likes cow ears, he or she is likely to like it too. While we do not hold any particular loyalty to Red Barn, we are likely to order this product again because of its price and speedy delivery.

I'd give it five stars except that the price has risen by $9 in the last two Due to the fact that these are grass fed, free range cow ears and from the US, I ordered a box of them
4/5

China is NOT to be blamed. My first order was a single box, as this was my first time ordering from this company. It's a great way to spend time with your dogs (such as a husky or a lab). Compared to the pig ears I pay more money for, they are much bigger. While I was browsing this site today to order three additional boxes, I was surprised to see the price had increased from $66, which I paid less than a week ago, to $75. The additional money may not bother some people, but I am not a fan of it. Why should it be changed if it is a $66 product? It looks like I'll have to buy the pig ears at the A few days don't go by without someone changing the price. I like them and think that they are great for larger dogs who love to chew on things but I don't like the price hikes they're doing to them. I asked the seller in the question section for this product about how often the price fluctuates, and the seller replied that this product has always held the same price and has not In spite of the fact that in February I paid $66 and free shipping on February 4, 2014 and today, I paid $75 and free shipping. It costs $75 to ship and 75 cents for delivery on December 12. If I wait a few days maybe the price will go down. I am just curious to know if users who order these often pay a different price? The 66 cents are the same as the 75 cents. Despite the price, these are still quite a steal. This does not mean they are overpriced. The only thing I wanted to know was how often the price They do not have to say that. A seller looks bad when they do, when it is clear that they do.

This is a favorite toy for our dog
5/5

We've purchased all kinds of cow ears, but these are the best. Their size, width, and thickness are all very good and they don't odor. It was 20 years ago, so he's in his 20s now The dog is a Havanese mix weighing a ton, and some of his pieces are much larger There is no doubt that Smokey takes longer than a dog, like, say, my daughter's Lab, to finish a chew. Marley chews a bag for ten minutes, but Smokey chews it (on and off) for three days. We see it as a good value because of that.

I can only find one cow ear for my puppy to eat
5/5

The dog loves these cow ears. I've tried several brands and my puppy will not touch them, so I ordered Red Barn (which is the same brand I bought from the store but they don't carry it anymore) and it is a hit! Christmas was a great time for my puppy, who was extremely happy with it. From now on, I will only order Redbarn cow ears. I know they smell funny, but my puppy loves them and eats them happily You can't put a price on how happy my puppy is!.
