No way! When hunting dogs are out of hearing range, this whistle is used to call them back and give them field commands. It will have no effect on wild animals.
There are 210 different styles to choose from. 211 and 5 are the two numbers. Both work well for my bird dog.
This whistle has a fairly high pitch, so it doesn't hurt the human ear, but it appears to be in good working order. Dogs can hear even when they are deafeningly deafeningly deafeningly deafeningly deaf I'd give it a shot because the cost is so low.

This whistle has been purchased in a variety of colors by me on several occasions. Many of the negative reviews are based on erroneous assumptions about dog behavior and sound sensitivity. A whistle will not elicit an automatic response from the vast majority of dogs. Furthermore, if a dog has been trained to respond to one whistle (or frequency of sound), it is unlikely that the dog will respond to other frequencies. The accuracy of the sound produced by these whistles is what makes them unique, 210. Dogs' ears are extremely sensitive to sound, and a whistle at one frequency will sound different to them than a whistle at another. She completely disregards any other whistles because their frequency is not the same as the ACME whistles. My dog has been trained to recall at this frequency, which is perfect for my kids and extended family when they need her. It can even be used by my two-year-old to remember her. br>br>Don't bother buying a'magic' whistle if you haven't trained the desired behavior. It is not going to work! Aside from that, everything works as it should. It produces a sound with a frequency of 210 hertz. Depending on how much air you push through it, it can be very quiet or very loud. These whistles are well-made, simple to clean, and will last a lifetime.

deaf dog! My 12- year- Although my old dog is deaf, she can still hear me whistle, so I figured she'd be able to pick up on this. She does, in fact. This is the only thing that a month old Lab responds to.
