There are a good number of whistles in my collection. Moreover, denim, delrin, aluminum, horn and brass are all materials that are suitable. It's the best logan I've ever seen. It is found that when whistles are kept clean and dry, they do not develop a metallic taste. When I polish metal whistles, I use microfiber cloths for cleaning lenses.
This is the Logan silver one that I ordered. Unless you scrape them against something sharp, I believe colored ones are anodized and will retain their color for years. The one I have is great

My whistle was ordered and received within a reasonable amount of time. It was a smooth transaction, from the order, to the packaging to the product.
The presentation of the product upon opening was pleasing. Everything came together well. In addition to the overall performance and value, the reason for three stars is the price. Plastic whistles are easy to blow and I thought this whistle would be better. It allows for more tones and sounds, and has a different tone each time I blow it. I do not have the ability to create subtle or varied tones in my mouth due to the size of the whistle. There is no difference in how easy or hard it is to blow this whistle than the plastic whistle. There is no guarantee that this whistle will be easier because it is more costly. This may be the case if you don't have much luck with cheaper whistles. Although the fit of the Logan is still not as good as that of other less expensive whistles, I see one advantage of using the Logan over those whistles in that it does not slop up as easily with spudum moisture as the others do. In other words, if your dogs are push-button cats that work over great distances (competition), tie a lanyard to it and it will work fine. You can save your money if you work close to the ground, such as pulling dogs out of the back of a pickup or UTV, or working close to a corral or yard.
This sheep (cow) dog whistle is very nicely made. The surface seems to be a polished aluminum, but maybe there's another material under the hood. The answer is still a mystery to me. No taste is left in the mouth after eating it. When I was a young boy, I saw sheep dogs being commanded by whistles during a trip with my father to the National Western Stock Show in Denver, Colorado. Several years ago, I trained my small dog for the agility and obedience tests. My curiosity led me to wonder if a whistle could be used to alert a dog to various agility obstacles. I have never seen whistles used for this, since there are more hand signals, foot placement and body language signals than whistles, but I'm curious. Moreover, I was curious to know what these whistles were like. To begin with, they are not something that you can just stick in your mouth and begin to hear a tone almost immediately. It's like learning to play a musical wind instrument, where you need to learn how to develop the right embouchure. As well as using a controlled and steady air pressure, I believe that there is a tendency to over blow in the beginning, and that positioning of the tongue and lips and rigidity are very important. The first day I couldn't get any sound out of the whistle at all, but by the second day, I could at least get some erratic sounds out of it. The whistle sound began to become more inconsistent and unreliable on day three, but sometimes it sounded good otherwise. My fourth or fifth day is now, and I've gotten better, but not good enough to create a solid foundation for this first try. In addition, I am now attempting to devise whistles that will be related to specific actions I expect from the dog, such as "Come, stop, and down. ". The bottom line is that I believe this to be a very high-quality construction whistle that will yield pleasing results with practice. It's a bit like a Steinway piano You can own one if you can afford one It takes time and dedication to become a concert artist, but just owning a concert instrument doesn't automatically make you one.
You have to be willing to practice and eventually master Despite its popularity, this whistle requires a lot of work and determination to play well. It's not just a simple toy. It's actually a top of the line playing instrument that takes time and effort to master. Your work must be performed in a manner that inspires confidence in others to believe that you are a capable leader. Dogs have a lot to do with that.
They are fantastic! I'm in love with them. The reasons why I might need more aren't immediate, but I'm trying to think of reasons why I might need others. These are by far the best of the other brands that I have purchased (of sheepdog whistles). The two best things about it are that it's easy to play and it sounds great. One is kept on my key chain and another is on a lanyard, which I can remove from my rear-view mirror Every time I drive somewhere alone, this device is attached to my rear-view mirror and hung around my neck so I can follow along with whatever song is on the While my local city orchestra might not seek me out, I have a hell of a good time, and my ability to play the right notes is getting better. Do not give up in the middle of the process (weeks). I'm going to teach my next dog some whistle words as well.
This thing is with me wherever I go. You have to practice a lot to become proficient at whistling, but once you're accustomed to it it becomes very easy. My puppy is learning how to use it since I use it to train her. I do however notice that my dogs seem to listen to it because of how clear and loud it can be. It has a similar sound to a sheepdog whistle and can be easily used by anyone who has used one. Tones seem to be the hardest thing to make reproducible, and it took me a solid 3 weeks to learn. As such, the sound is clearer than that generated by a plastic whistle of similar price. It gets the attention of my rambunctious young herding dog more quickly than verbal commands. *BR>*BR>Compared to using verbal commands, the whistle immediately got his attention.
The whistle is my favorite. A thank you note was included with the whistle, and instructions were included for how to use it. Despite the delays, I think the product was worth the wait and it's worth the cost. It took a few weeks to get here from the UK, but it's definitely worth it. Despite its small size, it sounds fantastic. Since I am new to this, I practice while driving in the car so the dogs are not bothered while learning.
