Perhaps it is the most quiet of the Roy Gonias I own, but I've only used two types so far.
My pleasure, thank you for asking this Your dog will be able to hear this low-pitched whistle without a problem, however its pitch may seem moderate to your ears. As such, it is key to remember that dogs are actually not uncomfortable by the tone. In the beginning, you will not always see a strong reaction from them to the tone. In order for them to understand your individual training needs, you must explain it to them.

It is incredibly difficult for me to get a sitehound to pay attention once they are engaged in something interesting and once they are interested, yelling their name is pointless, and clickers are a joke. A dog can run full speed in 3 bounds or less, putting it blocks away and in serious trouble in seconds, if it gets away from you unexpectedly and runs away. Whistle cannot be summed up in one word TRAINING IS ESSENTIAL Although it will not break through as effectively as hollering, it is a damn sight better than screaming. I believe the sound of me yelling at my dog is working since he looks up to me and associates the sound with me (and treats).
I found this whistle to be durable, well made, and high quality. Using this whistle is a great way to call your dog back. The purpose of this was to train my dog to come to 5 pips when I It can be blown without being too loud and make a nice pip. My major concern was that it would create too much noise or damage my hearing and disturb others. When it comes to whistle, it's not like that. When your dog must hear you from a distance or during windy weather, you can blow very loudly if you need them to hear. If you blow very lightly, you can make a nice quiet sound that can relax your dog, as well as not disturb others or draw attention from others who may be nearby.
As soon as I blow it, she runs! I will say that there is no lanyard, which is a bit of a shame, but you can fit the phone well in my pocket, so it has its upsides. I still have the rubber band shown on my laptop. I have no idea what it does, but it's still.
In the last week, I have used treats for reinforcement as a way of training my dog to come to the whistle. So now when he has a full head of steam, he won't come to my name, but when I blow the whistle he comes right around and calls.
I really enjoy this when I am unable to get my older dog's attention through simple calls.
I am really impressed by how well this whistle works on the dog.
I got it for him to get his attention at the dog park.
Training dogs was one of my responsibilities.
