Wow, how does your dog get on top of so many
I'm not sure that would work, since it appears to be the weight of the pet that triggers the alarm the alarm starts to sound as soon as they step on it. It is unlikely that just scratching would trigger the Though I could place it underneath the end of the sofa so that the cat would have to step on it to get to the scratching post, I think you could place the scratching post on the floor beneath the end of the sofa. The only thing you should do is not step on it yourself, as you will be startled. Hope you have a good day

My 90 lb. black dog, who is extremely alert and ridiculously helpful, lets me know when a car passes by or a butterfly passes gas in Bolivia. It was crucial that I get him something that would keep him off for good. The first thing that came to mind were the scat mats that provide a mild shock. But since Humphrey is so helpful, I knew I couldn't do that. Although I had read good reviews, I was very skeptical given our track record. The mats arrived yesterday and I am very pleased. Since I can't lie, I will say this- There is no fashion statement associated with them. You won't be able to use these mats if you're searching for something that is invisible. These pet safety products will not be a stylish addition to your furniture, but they do the job and do not hurt animals. Within minutes of receiving the mats, I had them on the ground. A bumble bee lit on a bush at the foot of the bay window in my living room within seconds, and Humphrey hopped on the chair covered by the mat to alert I also have one on the couch who has never approached the furniture since the mat beeped (he immediately jumped off when it beeped).
