If the chain is worn by a dog, does it turn his ?

In fact, my dog still has a white neck after using the chain, and the chain does not turn his neck black. It stays inside when I train/walk, and I use it only when we train/walk.

Can a Jack Russell that weighs 10 pounds wear a size 10?

Make sure that the neck is the right size by measuring it.

The length of the space appears to be one inch and three quarters of an The size of the dog will determine what type of dog it is. The 3/4" will be more comfortable for a smaller dog. However, we have used both widths on him. His preference is 3/4".

It measures just over 19 inches around my anatolian shepherd's neck Would it be better to buy the large or the ?

As for measurements, if he's on the edge of one of the sizes but still fits, I recommend going with the smaller size because it gets snug enough for him. It's easier to get it on and off if he also has a big head, but if he doesn't, go for the smaller size

We have downgraded our stitching quality
3/5

When I got a new dog, I purchased another RC Pets collar. I enjoyed the RC Pets collar I had. There does seem to be a significant change in the There are three rows of stitching on the collar from the older design, and it lies Within the new blue collar that is being manufactured, there is one row of thinner stitching surrounded by numerous folds of collar material creating a rather large hump. There is no way I can tell whether this new design will be durable, and I do not like the bump the overlapped material makes.

There are a lot of color and pattern options for this Martingale collar
5/5

Since I got it for my 100 pound wolfhound mix dog, this has been a go-to collar. The chronic anxiety in his life triggers him to freak out at random sounds, objects or people when out in public. This triggers him to run away from unknown objects or people. Having experience with this collar, I know that it has prevented him from slipping off when he panicked multiple times because it prevented him from taking off his collar. I honestly believe we would have lost him if it weren't for the collar during a few of his more severe panic attacks. In addition to its sensitivity, our dog is also quite nervous, so we knew a chain lead or prong collar would not be appropriate It just seems right to me to put him in a martingale collar with the chain as there was a time when I was afraid it would be too much for him. I really like that the RC brand offers so many color and pattern options for Martingale collars, at least more than I see at most pet shops. The collar I choose will serve both as a stylish and functional accessory for my dog. It is hard to tell from the pictures, but the rubber RC Dog Patch is rubbing off, but the collar as a whole seems to be holding up well. As a dog owner who is looking for a martingale collar, I would recommend this collar to others.

It would be awesome if you made a few changes to this martingale! It was fantastic to find a martingale that offered not only a variety of colors but also an exciting pattern

My dogs each have one of these, and I bought three of them. It appears to be a highly durable product because I have owned them for several months now and they still look great. In addition, they are very easy to use and do not cost a lot of money. Despite this, I would give them five stars and I would even pay a little more for them if some changes were made. If they had an optional quick release clip such that if anything did happen to them (i. e. , the collar catches on something) they would be easier to use and eliminate any concerns or hesitations about them. where the band goes around the ring, there needs to be a small band to hold the ends together. If the collar does not have this band, it sticks out until it is broken in. It also allows for enough movement for the collar to become loose. In some cases, I did have to retighten the collars until they were broken in sufficiently so that they would not have that loop showing. I would like to note that the quick release clip was really needed as I was unable to tighten the collar adequately to where the chain of the collar would pull the two rings of the collar together without them meeting. As a result, the collar is too tight for a fully accurate correction without being too small to easily remove over their heads. If you used the quick release clip, you could shorten the collar to ensure that, during corrections, the collar would be tight enough on the neck to ensure that they would pay attention. The collar would still be able to be removed quickly This explanation is my best attempt at making.

The new collar of choice
5/5

I bought this collar for my dog child a few months ago she escaped a few times from her flat collar. I put this collar on her weeks ago, and it has held up well since, and I have not had any problems with her Although it has a few signs of wear (the RC dog is halfway rubbed off, and the edges of the collar are getting fuzzy), I do not anticipate needing to replace it As well as looking sturdier and more functional, one of the reasons I bought this collar over another was that it seemed to be more durable. In fact, it wouldn't shift between days and will not need a readjustment every couple of I am glad to have been right after all. The plastic adjuster on the collar does not move a millimeter each time I take it off and put it back on after a bath (it is loosened before I take it off and tightened afterward). For a while, I was a bit concerned that the collar left a black ring around my dog's white furry neck, and it was a little tricky to wash off, so maybe you should wash it before fitting it to You should also remember to measure your dog's neck right below their ears, not halfway down to the base of their shoulders, in order to get the proper fit. In the beginning, I bought a large, as I measured my dog's neck and came up with an 18-inch measurement. I changed it for a medium since I could not adjust it to fit behind her ears (which happened to fit The D- is the last one A ring-tone When I tried to put my dog's ID tags on it, I discovered that it had a D-type impression My fingers weren't large enough to put the ring on my thumb. The clip I use to attach her tags was not a problem for me given that I already had a sturdy clip lying around. Buying a clip made specifically to hold ID tags is another option. As I did, you may need to improvise or buy a clip.

The first time I saw it, I liked it

I have a 14 lb Bichon puppy who wears this collar and it does the job from keeping him from pulling. It happened after a couple of months, but now the chain is gone and a gray residue has developed on my little white fluffy's was able to confirm it was this collar since I had him groomed and the same grey color was there again within a few I am not sure, unfortunately, if the chain is stainless steel as it is not mentioned anywhere on the listing. Since the collar looked so good on him and fit so well, I'm really disappointed.

The collar slips over the head for a good fit
5/5

It is hard to imagine anything better than these super cute collars to serve their purpose. The collar is a great tool to use in teaching a dog how to walk on its own on a leash, so long as it fits properly (behind its ears). If used incorrectly, martingale collars can teach bad behaviors on a leash (ignorance of leash pressure) and even hurt the dog (since any slip lead, prong, martingale collar has When trained consistently, and used as a tool, leash training is a great tool - as long as you keep your dog educated and trained. The new puppy I bought one year ago learned to walk on a leash within two weeks of being housebroken. Her status went from high prey to low prey Driving forward with lunging, lunging at every moving thing, to a perfect heel, with a bit of pulling when elated. She did all of that.
